Hey @mkujawski, thanks for taking the time to bring this up! When your orders come in with a specific service, you’re able to match this with a service and package type—we call it Shipping Service Mappings. Have you had the chance to check this out?

For example, when your customer selects “Expedited” service in your shopping cart, you’ll be able to automatically set this to “USPS Priority Mail Express, Medium Flat Rate Box”.

I have many situations where my Requested Service(Mapped) is set accurately when my Orders are pushed into Shipstation, but then I need to run an Automation Rule to determine which Package Type should be used for that Order.

I recognize that certain Package Types are dependent on the Carrier value; however I only use custom built "Your Packaging" options which exist independently of any Carrier. It would seem a solution could be crafted which would allow these custom packaging options to be set via Automation Rule and allow the Requested Service to be kept as it was originally mapped when the order was pushed into SS.

I think I could cut the number of Automation Rules I have by 60% if this was possible.

    Thanks!

Hey, @Joe! Thanks for all this!! I’ve gone ahead and merged two of the three. It looks like the user there is asking for a plethora of bulk actions and I’d like to not limit that idea to only mark as paid.

Can you tell us more about how you process your orders? Do all of your orders go into Awaiting Payment, or is this a special subset of your orders?

It's only a special subset of orders which we take manually(in person/phone/fax/email). All of our ecommerce sales channels come into ShipStation as "Awaiting Shipment", so this is a non-issue for them.

Many times we will have a significant number of manual orders which are free shipping, so a bulk "Mark as Paid' would allow us to knock them all out in one go rather than individually.

From your perspective, I think the user would have to understand that the "Shipping Paid" value they enter will be applied to all orders they have selected. Which is fine with me and seems logical/intuitive. Thanks.

    Hello,

We are still interested in supporting LTL Freight. However, our current infrastructure does not support any LTL shipping providers. We will continue to review the integration and let you know once any updates occur.

    Thanks again!

    I was told by SS:
"I’m sorry, but at this time we’re not able to create FedEx Freight labels by using the API. This too would be a feature request you could suggest on those forums."

Does this feature request cover the above?
