As a business that used UPS as our major carrier for the longest time, while I thought Smart Pickup would be useful, if you are shipping orders daily, you might want to ask for a Daily Pickup, this way you have pickups daily and you’re eligible for better rates. Just my 2 cents. (I did have 3 votes here for the longest time)

Thanks for bringing this up! We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue a partnership. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!

As developing a seamless integration typically requires cooperation from both parties, we recommend reaching out to Golden State Overnight and expressing your interest in an integration to help expedite this process.

This is the unfortunate reality. I’ve had a colleague of mine that’s worked with SS internally to develop an integration with a store platform... the plan fell through after 2 years of SS over-promising and under-delivering. Slow implementation, poor communication, and lack of motivation/focus on crucial features seem to be the teams over at SS. My colleagues company ended up partnering with a different solutions provider after. Sorry to break it to y’all, this is just futile.

This is a feature that is especially needed. I’ve talked to GSO (now GLS), and they’ve told me that the holdup is on ShipStation’s side. From what I’ve heard over the last 4 years is that SS just doesn’t feel the need to integrate. I’ve mostly given up hope on this, would recommend finding alternatives as SS doesn’t seem to be interested in expanding with regional carriers

I totally agree with this, it would be great the complete the customer experience through a white-labeling of the last point of contact with customers.

Especially in times like these, the need for same-day or local couriers has become incredibly important as more and more of us are turning to using these services while out stores remain closed. Regardless, an integration with Postmates would drastically help reduce complexity when fulfilling orders rather than managing external shipping methods

This is definitely an incredibly important feature that should be standard with any medium sized targeted SAAS platform. If we could enable access via SAML based SSO that would greatly improve both security and convenience.
