Hi @Cara, thanks for bringing this up! While we wait for other users to chime in, I think there may be somethings we can do today to help you apply the FedEx account numbers faster.
Have you looked into an automation rule to charge to a third party? This will allow you to automatically apply account numbers to orders if you already know how to filter down your orders.
Alternatively, from the orders grid, you may want to look into using bulk actions to “charge shipping to 3rd party…”Cara Recchiuti Confections commented
Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are aware of the automation and bulk action methods, but with hundreds of unique customers in a year, having automation rules for each is unrealistic. Mapping is the most logically and time saving method for this. Everything else maps when uploading drop ships, you'd think a third party account # would be a logical and in-demand feature for shippers similar to us.
Hi, @everyone! Can you help put this into perspective and add how often (relative to your single page packing slips) you’re needing to print additional pages?
For example, in a week 3/4 of your orders require a single page for packing slips and the remaining 1/4 require 2 pages; very rarely does an order need more than 2 pages.Cara Recchiuti Confections commented
This is a problem we are also having. It's particularly a trouble during the holidays when customers are purchasing lots of items as gifts. We had no idea for a week that we were sending out orders missing product.
One solution may be changing the orientation of the packing slip portion from Horizontal to vertical?
