Thanks for your great idea! We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue this new feature. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!

+1 We have many weekly recurring orders that need to be combined or split. We'd love to automate this task.

In the meantime, could you let us know what criteria you would base these rules on?
Any other workflow information for how you’re currently working around this, and how you would like to do this in the future would be helpful.

We use two box sizes for all of our products and bundle boxes together with a strapping machine. In our business, each box contains exactly one item. We manually split an order when a customer has 8+ items in Box Size A or 10+ items in Box Size B, but it's easy to make a mistake and forget to split an order -- especially with batch printing.

We also have customers who order the same thing every week (e.g. 27 items split into three bundles). It would be nice if shipstation could recognize our recurring orders and split them appropriately.

Hi, everyone! We read all of your feedback daily and noticed that this idea hasn’t seen any activity since we last checked in. Can you give us more information about how Doc Tabs would help your shipping workflow?

Please comment here in the forum so other users can add their input as well.

please add this feature! we batch-print our labels to save time and we need a packing list alongside every order. printing a separate packing list is overkill and would slow us down, but it's critical to have a short summary of the package items alongside the shipping label. for us, doc tabs with packing lists reduce error rates and speed up our shipping flow.

it looks like we will either hire a developer to splice apart shipstation pdf batches and add the doc tabs programmatically, or we'll switch to shiprush.

Thanks for your feedback! We’d like hear other scenarios from other users so we can revisit this idea. What specific workflow requires shipping unpaid orders? What is the most frustrating thing about having to ensure orders are paid for before you ship them (or mark them as paid)? We look forward to hearing more from you!

Echoing everything here! We have a lot of wholesale Net 30 orders. We ship orders immediately and customers pay later. Really looking forward to having this feature. Thank you product team!

If you think of more feedback please leave it here, being specific in how this would affect your workflow and how you’re currently doing it will help our product team to implement new features.

In the meantime, Custom Packing Slips would allow this to be accomplished.

I'd love to give more specifics on how this feature would really help our team!

Ideally we'd have the ability to write and save a bit of code for custom formatting. We give simple order summaries of the day's orders to our fulfillment team. Having each order listed cleanly on a sheet makes their lives easier and reduces human errors.

We need an order summary where the customer name is written on the left hand side, then a list of products for that customer appears on the right. Each product variant and quantity should appear in a neat list.

    e.g. -
    Customer Name -- 2 x Product Variant #1
    -- 6 x Product Variant #2
    -- 1 x Some other product

Having extra information listed on the sheet makes it hard for our fulfillment team when they're trying to quickly scan a long list of orders and make sure everything is correct. Our use case is specific to our shipping process, so I'd be really stoked if the customization option offered a small html box with {{ product variant }} style tags, so we can save our own version.

Hey, @Joe! Thanks for all this!! I’ve gone ahead and merged two of the three. It looks like the user there is asking for a plethora of bulk actions and I’d like to not limit that idea to only mark as paid.

Can you tell us more about how you process your orders? Do all of your orders go into Awaiting Payment, or is this a special subset of your orders?
