    Thanks for your feedback! We’d like hear other scenarios from other users so we can revisit this idea. What specific workflow requires shipping unpaid orders? What is the most frustrating thing about having to ensure orders are paid for before you ship them (or mark them as paid)? We look forward to hearing more from you!

    Shipstation - understand that in 2018 your product is a part of many workflows and other systems. In my case my orders flow from SS to Finale inventory, and on to Quickbooks.

    Being unable to handle normal wholesale terms, Shipstation forces us to change reality, then we need to change it back. I have to mark things paid in Shipstation, then I unpay them automatically elsewhere because Shipstation refuses to believe that unpaid items are shipped in the normal course of business.

    Sounds like you made a huge design error early on in the development of the SS framework and have realized there is a large cost to fix it, so instead of that , you want your users to distort the reality of an order and force them to make downstream adjustments.

    ugg...this is the kind of error a competitor can pick up on and make it a reason to switch shipping platforms.

    Hey, everyone! We’re still interested in this idea since it gained a lot of support when it first came out. Can you tell us more about customizable views and user permissions?

    As per our last update, have you tried using User Restrictions to allow your new shippers to only see orders assigned to them?

    We dropship for our clients. I would like to give a client a way to log in and only see shipments, tracking numbers assigned to the client. No dashboard, no order management, no reports on shipping costs, no tabs, no menus, nothing but the shipment table, filtered on "assigned to"
    currently not possible - too much other data is accessible ( try giving a user access to "reporting" and check the "only see orders assigned to user" ....that gives full access to all order data ! )

    reason: my clients need to extract tracking number from the shipment email they receive, then enter that into their own platforms/Etsy/Amazon...etc. that is tedious for them, would be better to give them a csv of their orders and tracking numbers on a self serve basis. ( i know i can make a filtered report, but i don't have the time to do this every day )

    Hi, everyone! Thanks for showing your support here! Can you tell us more about what you would use this feature for?

    From the previous comments it looks like some users are looking to use this for exchanges or more accurate accounting. Do you all agree?

    What do you think about our re-ship feature? Every time you re-ship an order, we will show you all the tracking numbers related to that order and its status. You’re able to change the order details for each label you re-ship.

    agree with all others - re-ship is not as good as duplicate order, with all external notifications turned off.
    would be nice if we could set in config a suffix put on to the order number. like "_dupe"
