    Thanks for your feedback! We’d like hear other scenarios from other users so we can revisit this idea. What specific workflow requires shipping unpaid orders? What is the most frustrating thing about having to ensure orders are paid for before you ship them (or mark them as paid)? We look forward to hearing more from you!

    Yes, would LOVE to be able to actually track what we actually did. But after months of others begging for this, XERO is still putzing around and not changing anything.

    Yes, please!! When I have to "mark as paid" it asks how much shipping was paid. I make a guess, because I don't know until the the shipping labels have been created. If there is a way to get a shipping rate without creating an order...well that would be helpful also.

    Shipping charges are added to customer invoice after the items ship and the customer is invoiced.

    This has been an on-going request since as early as Aug 28, 2012. This affects many of us, makes it difficult and time consuming. It should not take you this long to see that is a company does not require additional ship methods, they do not need to use them. But if our company delivers, installs or our customers come in to pick up their order, we still have no way to track. Guess we are wasting our time not just on our tracking but in asking you to make a change as well. HoHumm, I guess. You don't care.

    I use the "other" in ship mether and in the tracking information I note whether it was picked up at our location or if it was installed or if it was shipped via a freight company not on your list.

    Most frustrating is all the time spent tracking everything down on a daily basis.

    Yes! Exactly, we also have those who walk in and buy, those who pre-order and Will Call, plus we do Installations of our products, and large orders go by common carrier or Freight. We have to add notes and keep checking as items are picked up, installed or freighted. We have to mark those as "SHIPPED" to close them out. But at that point, did they pick it up or did we install it. We have to read the entire order to see what and when things have been finished.
