    We are looking into whether Etsy includes a gift flag in their order feeds when sending data to ShipStation and what would be needed to update our Etsy integration to accommodate this new field (since this field was not originally built into the integration specs).

    If the integration can be updated and Etsy does send the gift flag, you can then use ShipStation’s automation feature to create alerts, send emails, assign custom templates, etc to any order that contains it. We will update this post when we have more information about this.

    Hi, everyone! Thanks for showing your support here! Can you tell us more about what you would use this feature for?

    From the previous comments it looks like some users are looking to use this for exchanges or more accurate accounting. Do you all agree?

    What do you think about our re-ship feature? Every time you re-ship an order, we will show you all the tracking numbers related to that order and its status. You’re able to change the order details for each label you re-ship.

    Now that we’ve added the customer history widget into ShipStation’s new layout, we are exploring other options around this data, like the ability to trigger automated actions.

    We will definitely take this feedback into consideration when planning future automation improvements.

    hello, we customize our packaging inserts based on the number of orders a customer has placed.
    ie. first time customers get a "welcome" packaging card, second get a "nice to see you again" card, and after 10 orders, we start to add free items based on their purchase history.
    this would be insanely useful for us. we typically go through our shipment log every friday to adjust and tag customers appropriately in shipstation.
