Hey, @Joe! Thanks for all this!! I’ve gone ahead and merged two of the three. It looks like the user there is asking for a plethora of bulk actions and I’d like to not limit that idea to only mark as paid.

Can you tell us more about how you process your orders? Do all of your orders go into Awaiting Payment, or is this a special subset of your orders?

I have the same issue - please fix. These are orders from Magento where the customer paid with check. They are imported, by default, into ShipStation as unpaid.

Thanks for your feedback! We’d like hear other scenarios from other users so we can revisit this idea. What specific workflow requires shipping unpaid orders? What is the most frustrating thing about having to ensure orders are paid for before you ship them (or mark them as paid)? We look forward to hearing more from you!

Purchase Orders is the big thing for us. In order to get ShipStation to process them, they have to be set as a paid status. This screws up Quickbooks as it marks the order as Paid and also updates the Magento store as showing the order as paid. This means we have to manually track orders placed with a PO outside of both Quickbooks and the Magento site which is really annoying.

Shipstation is a great shipping solution but not an order management or accounting system. It should not enforce order payment rules. Make it an option set at the company level to be able to ship unpaid orders.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts, everyone! We’ll keep this in mind; for now, please leave your votes and comments to help keep this discussion active. Being specific in how this would affect your workflow and how you’re currently doing it will help our product team to implement new features.

For now, as an alternate workflow suggestion, you could be marking these orders as shipped. You would want to set the carrier to “Other”, and then use the tracking field for your “Pickup” or “Pallet Delivery” custom message.
Here’s an article to go over marking orders as shipped in case its needed: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206640507

New user looking for this feature - I signed up today and am trying to update a couple of local orders that were picked up from our warehouse.

According to the website, I should be able to specify an "Other Carrier" - https://shipstation.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1137677-how-can-i-mark-an-order-as-shipped-if-i-don-t-ship-it-via-shipstation-?b_id=150

But when I try this, I get an error message saying "Invalid Carrier".

    Why does this not work?
