    We are looking into whether Etsy includes a gift flag in their order feeds when sending data to ShipStation and what would be needed to update our Etsy integration to accommodate this new field (since this field was not originally built into the integration specs).

    If the integration can be updated and Etsy does send the gift flag, you can then use ShipStation’s automation feature to create alerts, send emails, assign custom templates, etc to any order that contains it. We will update this post when we have more information about this.

    Maybe 2021 will be the year ShipStation actually fixes this. Not holding my breath though.

    ShipStation is a legacy software. This means they're not working on anything new, they're just wringing every last dollar out of it that they can. They have no public road map on features. This forum is just to make us think they actually care.

    I don't expect this issue to ever be fixed because of this.

    Just had to re-ship a $30 sale because of this bug. It looks like ShipStation is a legacy product now, just wringing $$ out of existing customers, with no plans to fix simple bugs like this.

    2 year old bugs and the lack of a public facing roadmap means I'll be actively looking for a new solution over the coming weeks.

    Hi, everyone! Thanks for showing your support here! Can you tell us more about what you would use this feature for?

    From the previous comments it looks like some users are looking to use this for exchanges or more accurate accounting. Do you all agree?

    What do you think about our re-ship feature? Every time you re-ship an order, we will show you all the tracking numbers related to that order and its status. You’re able to change the order details for each label you re-ship.

    I also think it's a bit ridiculous that this isn't a feature already, especially after 5 years and so many votes.

    I've got to send out sample packs to all my reps but have to manually re-create each order (with 6 of the same items). If I had a "copy order button" it'd save me a ton of time.
