Hi @Eric, thanks for posting this! We’ll keep this in mind when improving our email templates and the On Hold function. For now, we’d like to see what other shippers think about this.

Please be sure to add your examples if you’re interested!

@ps2idhu Thanks for the follow up. But I don't see how thats possible, can you post a screenshot of your automation rule? The hold field isn't a selectable filter to use to trigger an email for me.

And it affects insurance, a 40$ USD order is around $1,000 MEXICAN Dollars from Amazon Mexico. So if you let automated insurance happen you've been paying 20+$ for insurance instead of 1$, causing you to lose money on the order....But I was told by support it was my problem and to remove automated insurance buying...lol right.

When importing from Amazon Canada or Europe the currency is brought in as USD when it is not. Why not convert it at the days rate so I can see what items are actually selling for and shipping actually was paid.

ShipStation’s new layout (formerly called V3) does currently show when both labels and packing slips have been printed through ShipStation (either via ShipStation Connect or downloaded from the Print pop-up… if you use the browser print option, we cannot track the print status). You can see the print status in the Shipments tab by showing the Label Printed and Packing Slip Printed columns, or by opening the Shipment Details screen.

We will consider the feedback around auto-printing packing slips when orders import, but there are a number of challenges around this approach that need to be overcome (for example, how to handle when the printer workstation is asleep or there is a hardware issue and printing is unsuccessful – ShipStation doesn’t have a way to receive that kind of feedback from the printer and it would not be desirable to show a packing slip as printed when it actually hasn’t…

It would be nice to have an automation rule that prints a packing slip ONLY when the # of items bought exceeds the lines on a label (3 domestic / 5 International).......So I do forget to pack the extra items.

Right now I have to flag those with a tag color to let myself know to handle them manually.
