Hey everyone! Thank you to @Perry who took the time to bring this one up! We’ll keep your feedback in mind, but for now we’re primarily interested in hearing what other users have to say.
If you haven’t already, please let us know your thoughts on this and how you’re doing this today (if at all).
Just chat about this with Austin over and would really like to see a Delivery by added to the Column tab. If we know when the order needs to be delivered by then we would set it to the correct shipping method.
Currently we need to go into the specific selling channel and check the delivery by date and then go back to ship-station and select the appropriate shipping method which takes a lot of manual work on our end. Putting a Column with the Estimated Delivery Date or Delivery By date would be very helpful and it seems as a lot of users are needing this feature.
The product team will review your request and you’ll hear from us once we have made a decision.
Would love to see this feature added if possible. Thank you Shipstation for considering this idea and keeping it open.
Thanks for your input, everyone!
Could you provide us where you gathered the information regarding what value the carriers will reimburse you with when you file a claim? We would be interested to know the policy for the popular carriers that you frequently use.
We would also like to hear more about your workflow – how are you currently insuring your shipments?
We will also be reaching out to our partners for more information regarding cost vs. retail price vs. insured amount.
Any additional information that you can provide for us would be appreciated! Please be sure to comment back here so other users can collaborate as well.
Hey @kalrakov thanks for bringing this up! We’d like for your idea to gain some traction before moving forward.
Please add your thoughts, examples, or workflows here in the forum to help us and others understand your goals.
We currently have a customer service rep who is sometimes on the go. Whenever a customer request a order cancellation and a label has been already printed but the item has only been packaged but not mailed our customer service rep needs to call in the warehouse and request that label to be voided via our desktops due to him not being able to void the label from his mobile device. As stated if the rep is able to void the label from his mobile device that would speed up our work-flow and it would avoid mistakes between customer service and our warehouse since we have had instances where the item gets mailed before the rep can reach the warehouse and void the label. Being able to void the label from his mobile device would give him more time and more connivance to complete his other tasks.
