Thanks for leaving your thoughts, everyone! We’ll keep this in mind; for now, please leave your votes and comments to help keep this discussion active. Being specific in how this would affect your workflow and how you’re currently doing it will help our product team to implement new features.
For now, as an alternate workflow suggestion, you could be marking these orders as shipped. You would want to set the carrier to “Other”, and then use the tracking field for your “Pickup” or “Pallet Delivery” custom message.
Here’s an article to go over marking orders as shipped in case its needed: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206640507
We ship a fair amount of LTL Freight shipments and it would be great to be able to select "Other" or "Custom" and be able to put in the name of the Freight or Courier company.
As well perhaps a link to their tracking page would be useful.
And also perhaps an option for an address for hold for pick up orders.
Also, of course, it would be handy to have some of the Custom shippers saved to save on pasting/typing in subsequent orders.
Add the ability to create Purchase Orders (PO). We do a lot of dropshipping and have to use 2 other products to create purchase orders (Magento Sync to Quickbooks Online (QBO) with Cloudcart Connector and then SOS Inventory to create the dropship POs). Once POs are sent to the vendors then they check their ShipStation accounts to make shipments. I would prefer to just use ShipStation as it already syncs to Magento and I realize SS can sync orders to QBO. However I don't see away to have the products on those orders expensed to the vendors in QBO as Cost of Goods Sold.
