I would like to see a way to have a single SKU from a webstore import to ShipStation as two line items. For example a bundled product (one price for A and B).

We have several items available both as a bundle and as single items. It seems foolish to pre-assemble these bundles as we don't know how many will sell.

If there was a way for the bundle SKU to import as the two separate SKUs it would help inventory as there wouldn't need to be an additional location created just to house assembled bundles.

Additionally, we work with several overseas depots, all with different inventory and shipping systems. Ship Station is used as a reference for them and I worry that because the bundle SKU isn't in their inventory system, an order may be marked out of stock.

    Thanks for your feedback!
We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue this idea. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!
In the meantime, could you let us know what criteria you would base these rules on?
Any other workflow information for how you’re currently working around this, and how you would like to do this in the future would be helpful.

I would also love to see this feature. Sometimes we take customer pre-order products on the same order as current stock products, and splitting these orders manually cannot be scaled.

We either have to make the customer wait until their pre-order product ships to get products we currently have in stock (sometimes that's over 6 months away!), or try to encourage them to order pre-order products separately (which doesn't always work!).

If we had the ability to split orders with automation rules, that would solve our issue.

Thanks for your input! You’re right that we currently have limited bulk actions for customs information, so we’d like for your idea to gain more support from other users before making a decision.

Any information you can add here may catch the attention (and votes!) of users in similar situations. Please be sure to comment here in the forum if you’re still interested in having bulk actions for customs information.

In the meantime, since we do not support Kickstarter directly, here is an idea from another user to integrate with Kickstarter you may be interested in: http://support.shipstation.com/forums/126593-request-a-new-shipstation-feature/suggestions/5619286

Hey, @gosatest, thank you for taking the time to bring this up! We’ll keep this in mind, but for now we’d like to see if other users are experiencing similar business challenges to yours before moving forward.
