@Amy I agree with you. The thought in creating a separate suggestion was for the title clarity. That was it, probably (obviously) not worth it :)
First, I am giddy with the new inventory features being added to ShipStation. This will be a boon to us, especially during our very intense Holiday season. Thank you for responding to the community and working to expand your device to include it.
I absolutely know this has been brought up in other threads, questions and comments in the forum, but I wanted to create a larger umbrella for it. I also know you have wonderful partners to choose from who do have this capability, specifically StitchLabs. Besides the very large jump in monthly subscription cost, using an additional service does add another tab that must be kept open for workflow. Additionally, there is a lot of redundancy. Hence, my request for ShipStation to incorporate it (hopefully this year).
Specifically, I'm looking for the ability to create a new SKU composed of existing SKUs. When a bundled SKU is ordered, the sub-SKUs inventory would be appropriately updated.

Yes, absolutely. Since ShipStation already allows for rules where I automate what dimensions and weight for the order, being able to account for the box/materials being used would be a dream. I order hundreds of boxes at a time, sometimes over a thousand; setting an alert to reorder...it just takes that much more stress.

TaxJar.com has helped me as an Etsy seller with bridging the gap right now. VERY promising service. $9.99/mo. but worth if you have enough volume.
I do quarterly pre-payments for sales tax in CA, so I would love something simple to allow me to quickly find the dollar amount for a given period. It could be in the settings; put your nexus state in, sales tax rate, done. After the year closes, I can use the existing reports to clean up and tighten the data behind the pre-payments.

The end result of this feature would be the ability to tag and filter for repeat customers.
The user above would like to send a free gift, great idea. Even for those like myself who may not do a free gift, I would prioritize those shipments as a courtesy to my repeat customers.
Obviously Shipstation does an amazing job taking care of its existing customers (love you guys!) and this added feature would allow all of your customers to make their regular customers feel valued.
