Suggestions for Writing a Great Idea Post
- Write a title to succinctly summarize your post. Other users should be able to identify if their idea is similar to yours just by reading the title so they will know to vote and comment on it!
- Explain the problem you are trying to solve and what you think should be added or changed in ShipStation to solve this problem.
- Describe how you would use this feature or how you think it should function to serve your need.
- Attach a screenshot to help illustrate your point.
- Put the idea in the category that best fits what you are trying to accomplish (for example: Order Management, Insights & Reporting, or Printing & Documents).
What to Expect With an Idea
- They are categorized in a logical way. If not, they may move them to the proper category.
- The title accurately reflects the idea content so others can understand. If not, they may edit the post title to help others identify posts they want to vote and comment on.
- That posts are really ideas and not bug reports or issues that require contacting our support team.
- That any request that has an existing solution or can be accomplished with existing features gets a response to let everyone know a solution or feature already exists and how to learn about it.

Add the address column to the orders page
We need a way to sort our orders by the shipping address so we can combine them to be able to send them in one package instead of several packages, saving timer and money on shipping

Negative search terms
Can you create the feature of negative search terms like google has?
for example" the search query bicycles -red will search for bicycles results and suppress any that have the word red in them.

amazon total supply
For FBA inventory you guys display the "Total Quantity" available in the Amazon fulfillment network on the ShipStation Order page for each product in the order, alongside a different "In stock" figure. I'm in the process of CREATING a shipment of inventory to Amazon, and I don't know how fast I'll finish it or whether I might even cancel it, and yet you guys are displaying the quantity in that shipment as Available. The "In Stock" figure is the only one that should display here because the "Total quantity" is meaningless for preparing orders, and confusing for me and my…

Added Reporting Function for Actual Shipments per User
Currently the Report Function shows the number of shipments per user, however this includes voided labels (so shipments that never actually get sent) and instead of counting combined orders as one, it is counted as 2. For instance, the "Shipment Count by User" report shows a total of 330 for today; whereas the "End of Day" numbers total 223. While that is only a discrepancy of 7, that could be much higher for other times of the year when we have a larger amount of combined orders.
Bottom line - I would like a report or some sort of system…

Offering UPS integration with Volusion stores
We wish we can offer UPS rates with our Volusion stores. Right now we are only able to offer FedEx (our own account) and USPS rates, but missing out giving customer the option for UPS shipping (using ShipStations good rates).

FedEx Saturday Overnight Delivery
When customers pay for FedEx Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery, we need to be able to use Shipstation to fulfill it along with all our other orders.

support for non-roman characters on labels
Hello! We have a large volume of international mail and can't turn off non-roman characters on Shopify. They are supported for USPS but shipstation just leaves a blank (no ???) on those labels so hard to detect. We have many issues created by this when labels go through with incomplete addresses-- we have to manually look through big batches to try and catch it. When we don't the label still prints with no Errors!!! There at least should be an error alerting us to blank space on expensive international labels that bounce back 2 months later leaving us to DHL…

Custom Shipped Order Status from ShipStation to WooCommerce
We have an issue curentleuy because we send our goods before the customer pays the order, and we will like ShipStation is not to send Complete order to that orders it can be custom status or some status we create on our site. This way we have a status Waiting check and when we send an order it will be completed, then we need to go back and change again manually order to the waiting check.

Bespoke report transfer between Orders pending and Shipped
We have a bespoke report linked to the Orders tab, which we use to calculate licence % repayments. As the report is linked only to the Order tab it does not pull through Shipped orders. As a rapidly growing small company we drastically need to move away from manual processes and utilise as much automation as possible. It would be so very useful to have the ability to copy reports from the Orders section into the Shipped section to enable merging of all order information; or have the ability to pull Open Orders and Shipped order detail into one bespoke…

Order Notes (Custom Field 3) in new view is far too below, need to scroll down every order in order to view it
ShipStation is using a new view today 10/9/2017, but the "Order Notes" (Customer, To Buyer, Internal, Gift, Custom Field 1, 2 & 3) is too far below the order items.
In the old view, when we clicked into an order, we don't have to scroll down and can already see the Custom Field 3. Now we have to scroll down every order to check all Order Notes.

Split single order with single item into multiple shipments
Split single order with single item into multiple shipments. Currently, one order must have multiple of an item or multiple items to enable splitting. However, I produce and sell an item that can be split into multiple shipments - enabling first class shipping and saving hundreds of dollars a day on labels. But there is no way to split one item across multiple shipments. For example, I make and sell pre-inflated air cushioning for packaging. I sell a 340 pack. But the dimensions exceed the new restrictions/requirements for first class package. If the item were split across two first class…

sfp orders processing is PAINFUL
HI
Can you let system to recommend the best service for SFP orders? right now, we have to open each of the order to choose the best/cheapest service before generate the shipping label, what a pain when you have hundreds of orders a day!!!Please have this automation , otherwise, we have to consider to move order management to other service providers.

Allow label creation of Amazon Prime orders regardless of courier selection
Shipstation blocks label creation of 'non-approved' couriers. We had a special agreement with Amazon to use another courier for prime orders, but shipstation incorrectly blocked this.

Ship By Date on Import WooCommerce
We use the Order Delivery WooCommerce plugin to manage our Mon-Wed shipping schedule as well as allow customers to choose shipping dates in the future as many purchases are gifts. I would love to see the "Ship Date" in WooCommerce import into Shipstation as the "Ship By" date. This would save us a lot of time and headache.

STOP changing the layout and features every few months! It's annoying!
Every time your staff decides to move things, make text smaller / harder to read and hide features it totally messes up our streamlining process!
Once we choose a certain version leave that version alone! Only add new changes to BETA! Then when BETA becomes a version - lock those features in!
For example your new BETA 3 is terrible! The notes section is too difficult to read, and when you log in all the columns we REQUIRE to see in every different store and shipping setting are all reset and missing!!! IT IS NOT GOOD! You should NEVER force…

Reference Shipping Rates in Automation Rules
We have several automation rules that will set the carrier, size, dimensions, and weights for our orders. It would be nice to be able to tell it that if a rate goes above a certain amount to switch to a different carrier.
For example, an order comes in and it's assigned to be a UPS Ground Package with a shipping rate of $25 but we know that item will fit in an USPS Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail box for $14.35.
