  1. Solid Commerce Integration

Solid Commerce is an inventory management tool similar to Channel Adviser. It helps to list your inventory to the various marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Rakuten, Newegg, Sears, and your personal website in one shot. It also stores all of your inventory in one central location so you can have you full quantity on every site instead of dividing inventory up between multiple marketplaces which can result in lost sales. Solid Commerce does also bring in all orders from the various sites so this integration would be great because then tracking numbers and shipping data can be updated on the…

Thanks for bringing this up! We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue a partnership. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!

As developing a seamless integration typically requires cooperation from both parties, we recommend reaching out to Solid Commerce and expressing your interest in an integration to help expedite this process.

  2. Integration with VendorNet for drop shipping retail relationships.

Some of our pending retail relationships use VendorNet and we would like to keep all shipping within ShipStation, so an integration with VendorNet would be great.

  3. Show Tracking Numbers For Marked As Shipped Orders

When an order is in a Shipped status and a tracking number exists, the tracking number should be available in the Orders list or the Order Details page.

It is currently shown on the Order Details page for manual shipments, but not for any fulfillment.

It should be displayed above Shipping Info even when it was a fulfillment order. There's really no reason for it not to be displayed here.

  4. Integrate with LivingSocial.com

Living Social works the same way OpenSky does. Why are you integrated with one and not the other? Seems like a simple integration to do.

    Hello!

Thank you so much for voting on this feature and helping us continue to improve ShipStation. We are currently reviewing possible solutions for an integration with Living Social and will be sure to update you once we have made a final decision.

    Thanks again,

  5. Add Orders Tagging & Order Exports while working in Batch

We currently use the new batch options as working folders for orders in which we after tag and export to order and process in other systems.

Adding the Order actions such as tagging and exporting is essential for the batch view!

  6. Puerto Rico Rate to State error

I receive multiple orders from Puerto Rico everyday

Each time I have to manually change the state to PR from Puerto Rico or i get a rate to state error

  7. Integration with SalesForce

As I am sure that many of us use SalesForce for our CRM, it would be great if ShipStation would take all of our customer transaction data and put it into our SalesForce ORG and enable us to ship directly through SalesForce. Sending return labels through SalesForce would also be awesome!

    Hello!

Thanks for submitting this request! While we don’t have a direct integration with SalesForce, there is a service called Cloud Conversion that can send integrate your SalesForce and ShipStation accounts. You can learn more about them here: http://www.cloudconversion.com/

Please note that this will be a beta integration until there is an official partnership in place.

    Thank you,

    ShipStation

  8. Please integrate with Shipped By NewEgg fulfillment

I use Shipped By NewEgg for quote some packages and it would be nice, if I could use it with the same streamlined easiness as Amazon FBA.

  9. Import field for Alias SKUs

I was really happy to see support for Alias SKUs in the product update today! We have a very large number of these (enough that manually inputting them is nearly impossible) and would love to be able to have them included as a field in the product import. Is this planned?

Thanks for your input! You’re right that we currently do not have a way to import alias SKUs in bulk, but we recently enhanced our combine product feature to also allow you to create aliases. When you click “Combine” from the Products page, you’ll see something a little different now.

Check out this article for more information: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/205900498

For now, we’ll keep this request open and in addition to Dave La Chasse Blank Apparel’s comment, please let us know what your situation looks like today and what you’re looking to accomplish!

  10. When an order is manually mark as shipped, let us enter a Ship Date and show the the tracking number in the upper left corner of Orders page

When an order is manually mark as shipped, let us enter a Ship Date and then plz show the the tracking number in the upper left corner of Orders page.

Right now, it shows it at the bottom of the page, but only if we click on –Order Activity”.

This is hard to find and easy to over look:

Thank you for the update, Gene! The product team will review your request and you’ll hear from us once we have made a decision.

We’d also like to hear what everyone else thinks, too! Any helpful details you can provide about how you use and track Manual Orders will help us understand your point of view. Please be sure to comment here in the forum so everyone can see your ideas.

  11. Split an order from Order Details view

Splitting orders for partial fulfillment is a very common activity for me, but the process is very clunky. I'm hoping that I'm just missing something that will make it easier.

Right now, it appears I can only split an order by pulling up the Orders view (with or without a filter), selecting one order, digging around for the well-hidden "Split Order" option under the "Other Actions" button, and performing the split from there.

One of the reasons this is cumbersome is that I spend more time in the Order Details view determining how the order needs to be split. I…

  12. Would love to have a tags column for the Shipments Page

We use tags for both new orders and shipped orders, it would be great to be able to add the 'tags' column in the shipping window.

Thanks for voting! We’d like for your ideas to gain more traction before making a decision. Can you tell us your use case for tagging your Shipments? We’ve received well-stated examples in the comments, but would like to hear more voices stand behind this idea.

Please comment here in the forum so we all can hear your thoughts!

  13. Allow the ability to specify a weight for "Your packaging"

To get accurate rates we've been adding the weights of packaging to the weights of each of our SKUs. But when multiple SKUs are ordered at once, the weight ends up being higher and we could potentially be over-charged.

If we could input weights for our packages we've created under "Your Packaging" we could input the actual weight of each SKU and could end up with more accurate order weights and shipping rates.

  14. Pay-on-use return label emailing

We create pay-on-use return labels for every shipment we send out. We want to give customers the option to print their labels at home/office. Please add the ability to check a shipment as requiring the label be emailed to customers (not every customer will want an emailed label, potentially).

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! We currently support “pay-on-use” return labels with FedEx and UPS. We plan to add this functionality for USPS and other carriers soon. We’ll be sure to update this request once this feature has been implemented. Please note that we cannot support this functionality unless the provider supports it as well. We’re working hard with our partners to get this added.

    Thanks again!

  15. Import Warehouse Location from Volusion

We would like a way to include "Warehouse Location" in the product attributes that are retrieved from Volusion. We have a custom product attribute in Volusion database for "WarehouseLocation" and it would be great if the that information could be imported to ShipStation

    Hello,

Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! We will need to review the integration documentation for Volusion to determine if they are sending us this information. As a third party integration, we can only use information that is sent to us from Volusion. We will update this request once we determine if this is possible.

  16. return labels in bulk

We need to print return labels in bulk. With shipstation, we have to do this one label at a time which is tedious. We should be able to make return labels in batches, just like we are able to create labels in batches. One label at a time just does not make any sense at all.

  17. Have one button to print both label and packing slip

It would really help to speed things up if you could choose to prompt the print screens for both labels and packing slips. Creating a printing queue could also help with printing management.

    Thanks

Hi there! Thanks so much for your feedback on how we can improve ShipStation for your business. We look here to learn about common obstacles for our users so we can work on solutions.

After reading many of the responses, it appears that one of the underlying needs described was to print labels on a 4×6 thermal printer and packing slips on an 8.5×11 printer, which you can now accomplish in ShipStation. http://feedback.shipstation.com/forums/126593-request-a-new-shipstation-feature/suggestions/4446885-print-thermal-shipping-labels-in-conjunction-with

Since you’re asking for the ability to have one button for this function, we’ll leave this request open. Can you give us more detail about about your current workflow and what’s the hardest part not having a button that prints both labels/packing slips simultaneously vs two buttons?

    Thanks,
    ShipStation

  18. As a bio ethanol fireplace seller, we often need to mark FedEx fuel shipments as "ORM-D". Would love to see support for this.

As a bio ethanol fireplace seller, we often need to mark FedEx fuel shipments as "ORM-D". Would love to see support for this, even though I doubt there's a lot of folks who need it. For us it means having to create a manual label via FedEx which on it's own wouldn't be terrible if orders only contained fuel, but when orders contain multiple items and only one shipment box is fuel, it gets cumbersome. Hi, everyone! Here’s an update:

We recently added the ability for you to mark your FirstMile DHL Global Mail shipments as “Dangerous Goods” under “Other Shipping Options” where you’ll be able to select “ORM-D” or other types of goods.

If you’d like for us to add it for any other carriers, please let us hear you in the comments section of this forum! Another piece of information that will help is how often you’re shipping these goods.

  19. Set insurance amount for carrier in Automation Rules

In our business we have multiple forms of insurance on our shipments as we sell a lot of laptop computers and need to make sure it is safe. Within our FedEx Account we have discounted rates and special policies so we only need to apply a set amount of insurance to each package as it is cheaper to insure it for more or less than the sell price usually.

The current option in Automation Rules only allows you to set the Insurance to Carrier, ShipStation Insurance or External/Other.

The ability to set the amount of insurance on the shipment as…

  20. Insurance on COST, not RETAIL price

When insuring a package, we want to be able to insure just the COST of the product if damaged or went missing, not the RETAIL VALUE. Currently your software takes the full retail value and uses that to determine the insurance amount. This doesn't make sense as shipping carriers will only reimburse you on the cost, not the retail value.

This is a fault, as no system is set up like this.

If I lose a $1000 item, but it only cost me $100, Fedex will only credit me $100.

So why am I paying insurance on $1000 if Iêd…

    Thanks for your input, everyone!

Could you provide us where you gathered the information regarding what value the carriers will reimburse you with when you file a claim? We would be interested to know the policy for the popular carriers that you frequently use.

We would also like to hear more about your workflow – how are you currently insuring your shipments?

We will also be reaching out to our partners for more information regarding cost vs. retail price vs. insured amount.

Any additional information that you can provide for us would be appreciated! Please be sure to comment back here so other users can collaborate as well.
