  1. Customizing Carrier Drop Down Lists

    As Shipstation is adding new carriers the list of carriers in the drop down lists is getting so long that it now requires scrolling to access popular carriers like UPS. This is really cumbersome when updating shipping information from a drop ship or external shipping process. How about either suggestion carrier based on the tracking number (which would also increase speed) or at least allow personalized reorder of carrier list or even turn off carriers not used by users in preferences.

    Thanks for your feedback! It looks like you are referring to the carrier menu when marking orders as shipped. If this is incorrect, please let us know which carrier list you’re looking at in the comments below.

  2. Option to view weight in pounds on reports instead of only ounces.

    The only option for viewing weight in reports is as ounces. We do a lot of analysis based on weight and shipping method but looking at ounces instead of pounds is annoying. We LOVE the reporting functionality of ShipStation except for this one thing. Thanks!

  3. Batch processing to add customs information to international shipments.

    We have 165 international orders from a Kickstarter project (along with about 1,600 domestic). The international orders were imported WITHOUT customs information provided. It would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to "batch" add information for customs to all of these orders. Just fyi, we do not have these orders linked to "products/items." We would simply like to bulk apply information to all of these orders. Unfortunately, there is not a feature that allows me to do so with customs information. Huge pain...

    Thanks for your input! You’re right that we currently have limited bulk actions for customs information, so we’d like for your idea to gain more support from other users before making a decision.

  5. Allow the restriction of shipping services to a particular warehouse.

    The title basically says it all. It would be helpful to be able to restrict a particular shipping service or carrier based on location.

  6. auto-update shipping address indicated by color change or icon

    We are having an issue with shipstation automatically fixes the addresses if it sees something wrong. We have also experience it changing it incorrectly and the package comes back to us as undeliverable.is there a way, that if the system auto changes or updates the address, for it to alert us somehow maybe with a color change or a different icon like it does with a messed up address?

  7. Billing only customs/duty fees to a 3rd party account (UPS International)

    It would be nice to be able to bill only the customs/brokerage fees to a 3rd party UPS account. Such an option is available in WorldShip, but not in ShipStation.

  8. Items Shipped Report by user or warehouse and not just by marketplace.

    We love the layout and look of the Items shipped report. It basically looks like an invoice which is perfect for us as many of our orders are drop shipped. Our factory partner needs to invoice us for these orders and the layout of the orders shipped report is EXACTLY what we need. However, this report is only done by marketplace, not by user or warehouse. It would be fantastic to add those parameters to make this report more custom. Same for all of the report actually.     Can you tell us more about why you’d like for the reports to have user and warehouse parameters? Is this all for your factory partner you mentioned? Or are you using user and warehouse metrics for other goals?

  9. Export Status on List Shipments

    I'm using the ShipStation APIs to create new orders and retrieve shipment information. Unless I've missed something obvious I see no way to limit the ListShipments method to only retrieve shipments that I haven't already exported. We could keep our responses smaller and more streamlined if there was an "Export Status" that could be used as a filter on the GET request. The export status would be false by default and then flipped to true either upon issuing the GET request or through a POST/PUT request to update the shipment.

    A built-in returns manager would be very useful for our business. Our needs would be relatively simple, and some of this functionality already exists:1. We would include a printed pre-paid return label with every package we ship.2. We would be able to track open returns in ShipStation, i.e., return labels that are currently in transit3.     Solid Commerce is an inventory management tool similar to Channel Adviser. It helps to list your inventory to the various marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Rakuten, Newegg, Sears, and your personal website in one shot. It also stores all of your inventory in one central location so you can have you full quantity on every site instead of dividing inventory up between multiple marketplaces which can result in lost sales.     Some of our pending retail relationships use VendorNet and we would like to keep all shipping within ShipStation, so an integration with VendorNet would be great.

  13. Show Tracking Numbers For Marked As Shipped Orders

    When an order is in a Shipped status and a tracking number exists, the tracking number should be available in the Orders list or the Order Details page.

    It is currently shown on the Order Details page for manual shipments, but not for any fulfillment.

    It should be displayed above Shipping Info even when it was a fulfillment order. There's really no reason for it not to be displayed here.

    Living Social works the same way OpenSky does. Why are you integrated with one and not the other? Seems like a simple integration to do.

  15. Add Orders Tagging & Order Exports while working in Batch

    We currently use the new batch options as working folders for orders in which we after tag and export to order and process in other systems.

    Adding the Order actions such as tagging and exporting is essential for the batch view!

  16. Puerto Rico Rate to State error

    I receive multiple orders from Puerto Rico everyday

    Each time I have to manually change the state to PR from Puerto Rico or i get a rate to state error

    Shipstation should be able to change it to PR automatically

  17. Integration with SalesForce

    As I am sure that many of us use SalesForce for our CRM, it would be great if ShipStation would take all of our customer transaction data and put it into our SalesForce ORG and enable us to ship directly through SalesForce. Sending return labels through SalesForce would also be awesome!

  19. Import field for Alias SKUs

    I was really happy to see support for Alias SKUs in the product update today! We have a very large number of these (enough that manually inputting them is nearly impossible) and would love to be able to have them included as a field in the product import. Is this planned?

    Thanks for your input! You’re right that we currently do not have a way to import alias SKUs in bulk, but we recently enhanced our combine product feature to also allow you to create aliases. When you click “Combine” from the Products page, you’ll see something a little different now.
