  1. Provide WYSIWYG Editing for Packing Slips

    I'm fairly new to ShipStation, but it seems one of the obvious enhancements would be to allow customization of the packing slips without needing HTML skills...essentially, exactly the same interface available to edit the email templates.

  2. Kickstarter integration!

    It would be a dream to be able to fulfill Kickstarter orders more smoothly, perhaps by plugging Kickstarter directly into ShipStation as a store? Currently we export a CSV file from Kickstarter, sort and tidy up the file (such as add the Item Name and SKU, or make backer change requests), and import the orders to a ShipStation Manual Store that we create for each campaign. Another small pain in the process is the disappearance of special international characters when saving the corrected CSV file in Excel (we're looking into Libre Office to avoid this issue).

  3. Use Shipstation to manage SHIPPING MATERIALS!

    Today we use Shipstation's workflow engine to make shipping box/envelope decisions for us. As an example, if an order comes in that is below 13oz, it would go into a "custom 13oz box" and if it's between 14-16oz it goes into another, and on and on. This has become a fully baked solution for us, and it's working great.

    Where we stumble on this is that we have no place to manage our shipping MATERIALS. Not inventory, per se, but actually the count of the boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and such. Maybe it's not worth managing, but for us, if…

  4. CommerceHub Integration

    You really need to integrate with CommerceHUB. WE just signed up with HomeDepot.com online portal and the require the use of CommerceHUB to fulfill orders through their system. This is a large company that services huge online companies like bestbuy, walmart, toysrus and more. Please get an integration set up asap and take over the shipping integration world!

  5. Support for common foreign characters

    Currently, orders containing addresses with foreign characters such as ó, ƒ, Ê, _ and many others are being imported into shipstation in a garbled way.

    Shipstation actually does "support" most of the common international characters if you paste them in to the orders which is time-consuming and cumbersome. It just doesn't import csv files correctly as UTF-8.

    Basic foreign characters such as ones used in Latin America and Europe are very necessary for international shipping. Please fix this.

  6. Generate return labels for one or all of the packages in a multi-package shipment

    Currently, when generating a return label, you can only generate a label for a single package. Many of our orders are sent as multiple packages. If a customer desires to return there entire order, there isn't an easy way to generate multi-package return labels for an existing shipment.

    We'd really love this functionality.

    If you’re creating this return yourself from a previously shipped order, you can create however many return labels needed.

    Once you’ve created the return label (within the shipment detail screen) for the first line item you’ve selected and created the label, you’ll stay in the returns screen in the order detail screen and press the blue + New Return link.

    This will allow you to create separate return labels for your line items.

    If this doesn’t work for you please let us know!

    It would be great to be able to automate multiple packages per order through the API.

  8. SED citation on Label and customizable commercial invoice

    We have been employing shipstation as our primary shipping software domestically. We would also like to incorporate shipstation as our primary shipping software for "BULK INTERNATIONAL" Shipments.

    Currently shipstaton does not offer the ability to add the SED/EEI filed to the label that is generated. To ship internationally the label must have an AES Citation. Shipstation does not cover EEI,

    Most shipping software such as shiprush and shipwire already incoporate these features and they should be easy to implement.

    In addition to the AES citation we would like an editable platform for commercial invoice generation. Currently Trade documents are generated…

We will need to review the API documentation with our carriers to determine if this is possible with our current integrations. As of now, we send all shipping parameters to a carrier, they generate the labels/manifests/customs declarations/etc in real time, send it back to us, then we allow you to easily print them in our software.

  9. Change the font colors for age of orders

    Different sellers have different processing times, so it would be nice to be able to adjust the age at which an order goes to the panic red zone.

  11. Merge US carriers and Canadian carriers in one account

    We would like to add the Canadian carriers under our US account in ShipStation.

    We have warehouses in USA and Canada, and sometimes it's cheaper to ship the Canadian orders from USA.

    By having all the carriers into 1 account, we can easily compare the shipping cost and choose the right warehouse and right carrier. Now we have to create separate account and navigate between the accounts to do that and also pay 2 subscriptions.

  12. More user friendly Internal Notes

    There should be an add button to add a new notes and after saving it will automatically pre-populate the user who made the note, the date of the net, and the note itself. This way for companies like us over 30+ users, it will be easier to track who made the note and when. As a user coming from ShipWorks, this is a very organized and useful feature to have.

  13. Make Etsy append variation to the end of an item name like eBay does.

    We have variations for almost all of our products and we use a filter to sort by variations. Since eBay automatically puts the variation in the item name it's great. BUT Etsy variations only show if you click on an individual item. If you could add the Variation to the end of the Item name also my life would be perfect.

If Etsy does not send us this information, we cannot display it in ShipStation. However, we will review their API and determine if this is something we can support.   14. Print on an envelope

    Hi Guys,

    It seems like it should be obvious, but - why can't ShipStation print on an envelope? You actually give me envelope-formatted postage with address and return address, but... you force me to print it as 4 x 6 which looks ridiculous. See attached picture. It seems like it would be a simple change to add a new print size, or even allow arbitrary print sizes. Seems like an unnecessary constraint to force all labels to be one of two size.

  15. Ability to download tracking information of orders fulfilled by FBA

    In the reports tab, you can only export orders which are shipped via a carrier. If you use a fulfillment provider (like FBA) then you cannot download/export those orders.

    I think this is a bug. When I reported it as a bug, support team asked me to request as a new feature

    Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! You can export your FBA/Shipwire fulfillment information by going to Shipments > Fulfillments > Export.

    However, we will discuss adding these shipments to the Shipped Orders report on the Insights tab. At this time, that report is reserved for shipments made within ShipStation. We’ll let you know once we have an update!

  16. Add "Direct Link" As An International Shipping Provider

    Direct Link offers international shipping priced from 20 to 50% less than current USPS International rates. Direct Link is operated by Swedish Post and has 3 offices in the U.S. ShipStation users would ship their International packages to a Direct Link Office, Direct Link ships out the package with a Swedish post mark and hands off to the receiving countries postal system. Also, would want ShipStation to interface with posten.se's API for tracking numbers.

  19. Port out ord number into FBA Amazon instead of their cumbersome order ID

    I'd like to see my cart's order number ported into FBA Amazon, to maintain consistence and make tracking easier, when there is a delivery problem.

    As of now, the order number is not ported, so Amazon assigns a unique order ID that is very long and cumbersome.

    If shipworks ports our order numbers into FBA Amazon, we can trace them when necessary very easily.

  20. Support for USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG)

    Would it be possible to add support for the USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) shipping option?

    I don't see it mentioned on Express1's site, by Endicia supports it:

    Sometimes we have orders that ship in boxes too large for USPS Priority & Express, but GXG allows the larger sizes. (ex: 24"x15"x24" to Australia)

    UPS supports that size, but the rates are significantly higher then USPS GXG.
