  1. Need sorting capability for spreadsheet data

    In the spreadsheet sales report, can you provide an option to view this information in a usable/sortable Excel spreadsheet? The only spreadsheet report I've been able to download is quite messy, the data cannot be sorted, it contains images, etc...

  2. OVERSOLD REPORT

    Simply, a report that looks at TOTAL inventory of a sku, Deduct the demand and anything at a NEGATIVE will show up on this report, showing the numbers that it was oversold.

    This could be a report in insights or a filter or tab in products. (as long as an export is possible)

    This is helpful to know what products need immediate reconcile of inventory. At our company, we print products on DEMAND, thus we would use it as a "production" list.

  3. Disable Shopify note_attributes

    I would prefer that Shopify provide us the ability to choose to enable or disable the mapping of Shopify’s note_attributes field to Customer Notes. This field usually contains custom order data as json markeup based on Shopify's documentation. This field data is not always desired to be brought over for shipping purposes as it mask real buyers’ notes on the orders especially in the list view. Due to the format of the data, it’s not really friendly anyway.

    This is really a bigger issue that I have noted here at the posting below. The note_ attributes field mapping is under-managed…

  4. Want orders with a custom order status to get changed to another custom order status after being shipped

    I would love to be able to have orders on my store with the custom order status of "Claim-Submitted" to get imported into ShipStation. Then after I create the label for it, I want it to update my store with the custom order status "Claim-Shipped"

  5. Product Barcodes on Picking Sheets and Ability to print Barcodes for Products

    We have barcodes assigned to our items that do come into shipstation with out integration. But they aren't being utilized in shipstation. It would be great to have the ability to print those barcode UPC/GTIN's onto picking sheets, packing slips.

    It would be even more beneficial to be able to set orders to print barcodes to a thermal printer so we can put it on packages. This goes hand in hand with Amazon's barcode needs for Fullfillment, internal manufacturing.

  6. Add Tracking Number to Export Orders

    This is maybe small, but it'd be huge for us.

    Can the tracking number please be included in the fields you can choose for Orders > Other Actions > Export Orders?

    Hi @Erica!

    Thanks for bringing this up! What goal are you looking to accomplish with this export? There may be another report that can help.

    If you go to the Insights page and click on reports, you can run the “Shipped Items” report that will give you things like order number, SKU, and tracking number, too.

  7. Creating a label from the customer profile should support multiple shipping accounts


    1. Go to the customers tab in ShipStation.

    2. Select a customer.

    3. Click the "Create Label" button.

    This create label screen does not allow you to select your shipping account, so makes multiple shipping accounts useless when printing a label through this path.

  8. Alternative SKU mapping

    Alternative SKU mapping. It would be great if you could set up a alternative sku for when orders are imported from a source. If you have a running change you could use existing data and create a rule would look for Alternative SKU field 1st if blank it would import under SKU field 1 (the original sku). This would hours of manual data entry and changes.

  9. Stamps.com vs Endicia

    We understand the push towards Stamps.com vs Endicia. However, as a 3PL, we have some clients that already utilize Endicia, and thus we have had to altogether not allow Stamps.com, because they do not play well together in ShipStation.

    Even if our default account is an Endicia, if we have a Stamps.com as a supplementary account (or for example, that belongs to a specific client of ours), it will default to the Stamps.com. That does not work, because it needs to default to whatever account we set as default, regardless of which carrier that is, not automatically default to Stamps.com…

    Hi!

    When creating labels with either Endicia or Stamps.com, do you have your account setup to display the carrier services based on Postage Provider or Carrier?

    Using Postage Provider will allow you to see both Endicia and Stamps.com as the postage provider option when creating a label.

  10. "Shipping Account" Field

    The "Shipping Account" column (that shows exactly which account is used, beyond just "FedEx" etc), should be a field available in the export report - currently it is not in the list of Available Fields, even when selecting "Show Advanced Options"

  11. calendar holidays

    Allow a pop up notification if we schedule a ship date that is on a holiday. Load all the yearly shipping holidays for USPS, FedEx, UPS. If we select a future date that has as shipping holiday, a pop up note saying it is a USPS holiday for example would help us to then select a different date for shipping.

  13. Making International Shipping more efficient

    Some of these ideas have been partially covered by other suggestions, but I wanted to roll it all together as (For me at least) it's a very common scenario and subsequent workflow.

    Each time I receive a DHL order (which I'm trying to promote, since USPS is hopeless for international, and FedEx and UPS are pricey), I have to do the following:


    • Print the label (1 click)

    • Print the customs form (1 click)

    • copy the customs form to get the 3 required copies

    What I'd suggest happens is that since I've printed the label, I must have the customs form,…

  14. Label Same Direction as Invoice/Packing Slip

    I would like to orient my Invoice/Packing Slip on my Burris Forms Integrated Label to be the same direction as the shipping label (see Sample-Integrated-Label.pdf). To have the Invoice/Packing Slip printed in a different direction as the label makes it very awkward to confirm all the information when checking orders. This should be a simple fix and a very convenient one for order pickers & checkers.

  15. sort by coupon code

    We offer a coupon code for people who live nearby and want to pick up their order instead of having us ship it. However, I cannot find a way to easily tag an order that has a particular coupon code with it. This would be a really helpful feature for us!

  16. Use secondary Site Order ID as Order # for eBay orders through Channel Advisor

    Our Shipstation account is integrated with CAdv. When it comes to eBay orders, Shipstation picks up the site order ID instead of secondary Site Order ID which is a true eBay order number, as shown below.
    Site Order ID: 181990890174-1613746963008
    Secondary Site Order ID: 10609
    ChannelAdvisor Order ID: 126190
    Can you remap (reconfigure) Shipstation so it would pick up Secondary Site Order ID?
    Having a site order ID instead of a true eBay order number is very confusing and unhelpful no only for our customers but also for our warehouse and staff

  17. Offer landscape orientation for 8.5 x 11 packing slips

    The ability to print 8.5 x 11 packing slips in landscape orientation would help for clients with longer product names, SKU's, etc.

  20. FBA splits order

    I have orders that are sold on my website via BigCommerce. They are imported into ShipStation and then I have FBA ship them to the customer using ShipStation.
    My problem I run into is the orders that have more than 1 item. When FBA breaks up the order this causes more than one tracking number. Only the first tracking number is sent to BigCommerce and to the customer via ShipStation and my website. The e-mail states everything is being shipped together and the tracking information is included. I then get customers e-mailing and calling that the order was not complete…
