  1. Shipstation get calls update for Magento 2.3

    This is not an idea, but an issue we are having with shipstations api and magento 2.3.3.

    Shipstations api is not pulling in magento 2.3.3's new get calls for order notes.

    Prior to magento 2, the order notes came in as the get call "getCustomerNote" and every update note after that.

    The new get call in Magento 2.3 for any new order notes after the initial "getCustomerNote", is "getStatusHistories".

    Shipstation's api needs to be updated to pull in these calls from Magento 2.3

    How this affects our workflow is.. if a customer places an order, and our team finds it…

  2. Multiple UPS Account Numbers

    We would like the ability to add different pricing templates to different UPS #'s under the same ShipStation login information.

    https://ss2.shipstation.com/#/settings/unishippers

    In the above link, it takes you to a screen where you can put in our customer's account #, username and password so a pricing template can be applied to their UPS #. The problem is, if they have multiple account #'s that need different templates, you can only apply one. There isn't an option to select which UPS # you would like the pricing applied to.

    We could use some more details about this need.

    Do you mean you have multiple UPS accounts connected to your ShipStation account and you need a way to enable Unishippers (with a different Unishippers account #) for each one? And be able to assign each Unishpper account # to a specific UPS account?

  3. Associate Ship From Location with store name

    It would be nice to have a pre-set "ship from location" for each store in shipstation. Like all the order imported from my ebay store are automaticly set to Ship From Location A, and all order imported from my other store would be set to Ship From Location B.

    We definitely see the usefulness of having a setting to assign a specific Ship From location based on which store an order imported from.

    While there is not currently a store setting for this, you can actually accomplish this using automation rules.

    Create an automation rule with the criteria set to Store :: Equals :: Store Name. Then set the action to “Set Ship From Location” and select the location you want used for that store.

    Once you’ve created this rule, ShipStation will automatically assign that Ship From Location to all orders that import from the store you set in the criteria.

  4. Add UPS SurePost to rate calculator

    UPS SurePost does not show in the rate calculator when trying to determine the cheapest method for Free Shipping.

    Can we get all UPS and FedEx US Postal Delivery shipping methods (i.e. UPS SurePost & Fedex SmartPost) to show in the calculator?

    We are investigating whether this will be possible with the UPS Surepost API and integration requirements. We will update this thread when we know more and can determine if it’s possible to accomplish this request.

  5. Set carrier (UPS, FedEX, USPS, ETC) and service (Ground, Next day, ETC) level separately

    We ship using several Retailers shipping accounts. on thier orders it will say what service level to use.
    As things are now with the automation rules, you have to set the carrier and shipping level together.
    It would be helpful to have the option to set the carrier, and speed individualy

    Hi thanks for bringing this up! I see you’re looking to separate carrier and service speed.

    Something that might help give you visibility of the service speed is to map this field to ShipStation’s “shipping service” when importing orders via CSV. This will show at the top of your shipping info section in order details.

  7. Poshmark added to Shipstation.

    Are there any plans on adding Poshmark? I know they generate their own labels but, Shipstation would help in tracking the orders after the labels are printed. Maybe import the labels and mark them as shipped when printed. It would be nice to have all of our channels together.

  8. Allow Shipstation to pull from custom fulfillment services on Shopify.

    We currently fulfill for an automotive company that sells thousands of car parts, but we just fulfill their clothing and accessories. About 300 skus. We want to be able to set the fulfillment services in Shopify to our company and then Shipstation can pull from just those items. Currently Shipstation can only pull from anything set to "Manual".

    We use ecomdash and have the connection set up. It would be nice to be able to feed all stores data into Ecomdash. This way we keep both systems up to date and all shipping information flows to ecomdash.

    I deliver products every month using the website "Patreon". It's a monthly subscription, that my followers pay to me to support my business. In return, I send them prints both monthly and every 6 months. Having shipstation connected to it, would be absolutel amazing!

  12. Support Square POS transactions

    We have a ShipStation account and use Shopify for eCommerce and we also have a retail location using Square POS. We often get customers that want to buy in store and have product shipped. Is there a way to integrate Square POS with ShipStation? All I've seen is that ShipStation only integrates with Square web sales and we don't use their web platform.

  14. Implement more of Jet.com API: Bullets, Additional Images

    If using SS only, the only way to edit product listings on Jet is through the SS Product interface, which lacks product bullets and additional images, key to a good looking listing on Jet.com

  15. Please make it possible to change from 3rd party to default from settings

    For some reason my billing on the labels was changed for a 3rd party billing which was making me that its unable to change my billing preferences back to default with out having to go into every single order and changing it there which can be very annoying when you need to process 200 orders. I Shipstation can put the billing prefrences in the settings it would go a long way.

    Hi @emanuel, thanks for bringing this up! If I follow you correctly, you can change the billing party for multiple orders at once by using Bulk Actions. You’ll find this under the Other Actions menu.

  16. Quickbooks Online integration

    When importing orders into Quickbooks Online it sets the Sales Receipt date to the day I import them. Why not set the date to the shipping date? Please fix this. It makes no sense to use the import date and at least the shipping date would be more accurate as to when the order occured. Imagine importing 300 orders from August and then having to go back and fix the date on each one because you imported them in October.

    Truegether is like Bonanza in that it syncs with eBay and Amazon and pushes products to google. I sell a few items a week from here. I know its not a lot but get tired of copy and paste to do shipping

  19. Etsy gift wrap/gift message integration

    Etsy is getting ready to integrate gift wrapping and gift messages into their sales platform. I'm hoping there will be an alert for each order containing this information within ShipStation once it goes into effect. Gift messages are going to be made available to all orders at no charge, so every Etsy seller will have to deal with them whether they want to or not, and I am concerned I'll get a gift message request and not know about it.

    Ideally, I would also like to see a way to print ONLY gift message packing slips and not every packing…

    We are looking into whether Etsy includes a gift flag in their order feeds when sending data to ShipStation and what would be needed to update our Etsy integration to accommodate this new field (since this field was not originally built into the integration specs).

    If the integration can be updated and Etsy does send the gift flag, you can then use ShipStation’s automation feature to create alerts, send emails, assign custom templates, etc to any order that contains it. We will update this post when we have more information about this.

  20. API - Make Custom Package types available via API

    Allow custom package types, setup in SHIPPING > PACKAGES > Your Packaging, to be passed via the API. We import shipment data via API to Tableau reporting server. Having NULL values under package type makes it tough to report on volume for specific package types.
