Hey, We would like a way for ShipStation to auto change the status of a split order. Right now it will change the status of the orders that are shipped but if the order is split it stays as processing. It dose send a note to WooCommerces with the products that were shipped and the tracking number but it keeps the order status as processing. If it could change the order status to Split Order that would be great. That way when we are going threw the orders on WooCommerces we don't have to open them to find out why it has not shipping already. Also we don't accidentally re-ship the whole order thinking it just has not been shipped. I has already spoken with a plugin that is willing to work with y'all and make this an option in WooCommerce if y'all can make ShipStation send a code to WooCommerce like it dose when its shipped. The ladies I have been talking to is Beka and her email is email@example.com. This would be such a great function and I really believe a lot of people would benefit from this.

The ability to create/edit batches via API and also the ability to split orders via API would be pretty useful. Not having these features currently causes significant delays in our business operations, and we'd love for ShipStation to be the solution to that.19 votes
Orders that are on hold status in ShipStation can still be packed/scanned and shipped, potentially allowing an order that should not be shipped to get shipped. Would be great to not allow an order that is on hold to get scanned (at scan to verify items stage) or at least receive a warning indicating that order is on hold.19 votes
When you merge 2 orders, one order ends up inactive. The surviving order has a advancedOptions.mergedIds array with order IDs that are not reachable. Asking for them gives you a 404. There should be a way to query an inactive order.18 votes
Since we now use the Shipstation inventory feature, it would be great to be able to barcode scan inventory into the Shipstation system. It just makes sense if we are using barcode scanning to locate orders, etc that we would be able to scan a products barcode, enter the received amount and it would update the Shipstation system.
We are a small but growing company and prefer to keep as much as we can in one native system which also keeps overall costs a lower for us. We are happy to pay a bit more to Shipstation for these solutions.18 votes
While not currently on our roadmap, we think this is a great idea and our product team is taking this suggestion under consideration as we plan our future product enhancements.
We use ChannelAdvisor. I would like to have the Amazon Ship By and Delivery By date shown in the order. This will help us to be able to chose the right shipping carrier and method to get the order to the customer in time. Right now, those two fields have no way to be mapped in ShipStation but ChannelAdvisor does provide those fields.18 votes
add fields that are searchable, like upc, Description, Fulfillment SKU
UPC is very important18 votes
Please make delivery date accessible via API.17 votes
Hi there! Thanks for submitting your feedback on this.
Currently, you are only able to get a ShipBy Date via the API, not the Delivery Date. Since you’re asking for DeliveryDate being accessible via the API, we’ll leave this request open.
However, can you give us more detail about why this is important for you? Please be sure to comment back here so other users can collaborate as well.
I am requesting ShipStation to be able to receive tracking numbers from Amazon when an order is updated to shipped by Amazon.17 votes
Can someone give me an idea of what I need to do to connect Brandboom to Shipstation?17 votes
Thanks for bringing this up! We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue a partnership. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!
As developing a seamless integration typically requires cooperation from both parties, we recommend reaching out to Brandboom and expressing your interest in an integration to help expedite this process.
Add mypost business csv import, like readytoship. My post business has more users than eparcel now!16 votes
Hello, We are looking for a way to create another "folder" for our items that are on backorder. As of now they are sitting in our holds "folder" and it is getting to be very confusing in that "folder". We need a way to organize the holds area. Thank you.16 votes
I want a rule that would allow us to charge UPS shipping to recipient. Currently, we are able to set up a rule that charges a 3rd party for shipping, which on face, should be the same thing. However, it actually costs the recipient more to do it this way, so we are forced to manually change all orders that come through like this. Seems like it would be an easy fix, since the functionality is almost there in the rules and is already there manually.15 votes
Thanks for your great idea! We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue this idea. For now, please leave your votes and comments to help keep this discussion active. Being specific in how this would affect your workflow and how you’re currently doing it will help our product team to implement new features. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!
Would be nice to be able to set the package for an order without having to also set the service. Service has already been selected by our website customer and imported into ShipStation so there is no need to change it. You can already set dimensions in a rule so why not package?14 votes
Hey @mkujawski, thanks for taking the time to bring this up! When your orders come in with a specific service, you’re able to match this with a service and package type—we call it Shipping Service Mappings. Have you had the chance to check this out?
For example, when your customer selects “Expedited” service in your shopping cart, you’ll be able to automatically set this to “USPS Priority Mail Express, Medium Flat Rate Box”.
Add CSV import Mapping fields for Third Party Account Numbers. Many of our Dropship customers want to use their own FedEx account numbers. Currently, we have the manually enter their Account Numbers for each order post-import. This is time consuming and can cause mistakes during busy holiday seasons14 votes
Hi @Cara, thanks for bringing this up! While we wait for other users to chime in, I think there may be somethings we can do today to help you apply the FedEx account numbers faster.
Have you looked into an automation rule to charge to a third party? This will allow you to automatically apply account numbers to orders if you already know how to filter down your orders.
Alternatively, from the orders grid, you may want to look into using bulk actions to “charge shipping to 3rd party…”
We have more than one customer's inventory in the system. I would like to give one of my customers a log in so that they can enter manual orders and see their inventory. There is not currently a way for them to only see THEIR inventory, all of the inventory for both customers always shows up. I would like to be able to limit them to only see the inventory in the store that they have access to. Can we make that happen please?13 votes
Sending Delivery Confirmation data back into our stores order details would provide great benefits. We do not consider an order to be complete until the order as been delivered and neither does most banking/credit institutions like PayPal.
Sending Delivery Confirmation details back into our order details on our store will allow us change the status to Complete. It will also allow us to provide automated follow up emails with customers to ensure that their order meets their needs. We can't send an email asking how their order turned out without first getting confirmation that the order was delivered.12 votes
Thanks for your idea!
While we wait for other users to add their votes and comments, can you tell me more about how this would benefit you and what other marketplaces this would assist with?
There is currently a way to check into your shipments tab and see the check mark next to tracking, confirming that the package has been delivered.
You can also filter in the “Advanced Search” selection under the search bar in the top right to display only delivered orders.
Please let us know how else we can look into implementing this feature.
Any other information you have to add as to what you’re currently doing to get around this and any other constructive comments.
The ability to have multiple shipstation accounts open at once or even switch through accounts through the UI. We have a few different completely different ecommerce businesses running with different shipping softwares. Shipstation is by far our favorite and we'd love to consolidate everything there.12 votes
Hi! One option to have multiple accounts open is to use an incognito/private window for each of the accounts you’re logged into.
Allow us to set the default confirmation for Australia post to not be safe drop through an automation rule?12 votes
Thanks for the update! Now I understand and you’re right. The best route today is to use the sidebar to update your orders through the sidebar. For now, we’ll wait to hear from other users on their feedback on this before moving forward.
We use ShipStation to receive orders from many sales channels and platforms.
While the Quickbooks integration is great, it would be even better if the sync could happen automatically every day or at some other specified interval.10 votes
