    Split single order with single item into multiple shipments. Currently, one order must have multiple of an item or multiple items to enable splitting. However, I produce and sell an item that can be split into multiple shipments - enabling first class shipping and saving hundreds of dollars a day on labels. But there is no way to split one item across multiple shipments. For example, I make and sell pre-inflated air cushioning for packaging. I sell a 340 pack.   4. Make the Ship By column malleable to meet business needs

    Instead of limiting the Automation rule of setting a Ship By date after an Order date, allow for an Automation rule of setting a Ship By date before a delivery date.

    We use FedEx 2Day shipping nationwide and having this will allow for any Ship By date to be easily set, helping my Operations team prioritize orders that need to get out the door.

  5. Sorting by none assigned only

    Currently sorting the orders grid this way is the only way to see those orders grouped together. I do understand this is inconvenient, and adding he option to view only unassigned orders to the filter would be great! I would definitely recommend letting our developers know your thoughts on our product feedback forum

  6. Permission Block For Create Return Labels

    We do not want our additional users to make "create return labels" on shipstation. We have different return policies. Can this be blocked when customizing the user permissions? Currently it is not a feature.

  9. CRITICAL! Mark Orders as Shipped Extra Field (Tracking URL)

    We have shopify added as store. when we ship manual orders, we can only add the tracking number for carriers not listed on manual ship! How is the customer suppose to get the URL if we can only add the tracking number but not know which carrier it is!!! This is really basic and should have been added at the same time the manual orders as shipped was developed. Try adding 2 fields if possible, Tracking URL / Carrier Name if user selects Others so we can write like Japan Post, Deutsche Post, Purolator Freight

  10. Allow customers to create Return Labels without prior shipments

    We sell repair services online where we have our customers ship their items to us (via Return Label) and then we ship the items back to them after being repaired. It's a two-way shipping in reverse. We need to give our customers the ability to ship to us with Return Label, but your system only allows them to create Return Labels for orders that have already Shipped. Give customers the ability to ship items to vendors. This is greatly needed for online repair services and nobody supports.   11. Restrict/disable Ship From dropdown

    For drop shipping we can create a user and restrict that user to only view orders assigned to them. However a restricted user has the ability to view and change the value of Ship From when creating label.
    In our scenario different Ship From locations represent different competing drop-shipping merchant so we want to be able to hide/disable the Ship From field.

  12. Request more frequent auto-update of orders

    Allow settings to request more frequent auto-update of orders. For some reason my 3pl does not click on the refresh button therefore some orders are not brought into the queue. I was told that an algorithm currently determines when the system auto-updates with new orders. It would be nice if the minimum update time was more frequent (1hr) and/or it was a setting within our control.

  13. Ability to create an automated rule to change customer phone number.

    FedEx requires customer phone numbers on the labels, but we ship all our packages anonymously, so it would be great to have an automated rule that removes that or allows us to change the customer phone number.

  15. Customs Declaration Not Being Updated

    If the quantity of a product is changed in our shopping cart, the quantity is also updated in the Order Items list in ShipStation. However, the quantity is NOT updated in the Customs Declarations section. (See attached screenshot)

    This is something that is very easily missed by the shipper.

    Whenever the quantities or values are changed in the cart, this change should always be made to the Customs Declaration section as well.

  16. Button to hide shipments that didn't ship correctly and now continue to say they are in transit or missing

    a button to hide "?" shipments that have been lingering for a long time because the carrier never got them but they are tied to another shipment the carrier did get, so cannot be voided.

    We are a retailer with multiple bricks and mortar stores. These stores send online orders. When Shopify allocates a sale to a retail store the automation would 'Create and Print Label' > Download label > Email label to store.

  20. Create labels from non-primary fulfillment account

    When shipping orders to Canada, we use a sales rep to list as the importer for the orders and bill them for shipping.

    To make this work with customs and UPS importing, we need to generate shipping labels from a particular account that we only use when processing orders through this rep. The orders must then also be billed 3rd-party to another account. When billing third-party, labels are automatically created from our primary shipping account, so these orders show up with our business as the importer instead of the sales rep, causing issues with customs.
