Show Tracking Numbers For Marked As Shipped Orders
When an order is in a Shipped status and a tracking number exists, the tracking number should be available in the Orders list or the Order Details page.
It is currently shown on the Order Details page for manual shipments, but not for any fulfillment.
It should be displayed above Shipping Info even when it was a fulfillment order. There's really no reason for it not to be displayed here.
Thanks for bringing up this improvement for fulfillments!
We’d like for your idea to gain momentum and support from other users before making a decision. Please comment here in the forum with any information that may catch the attention of other users.
It's sort of weird that we have to dive down into the order activity tab to locate tracking numbers on an order that is drop-shipped. Also, the carrier name doesn't show up in this area. Mine just says carrier=4 (this means FedEx to all you noobs) :|
Why have a separate"Shipments" tab at the top and also one on the side as a subsection of Orders? Why do they both operate differently? In the Shipments section under the Orders menu, the tracking number isn't a viewable column. In the top Shipments tab, the tracking number is a viewable column.

Agreed. This would be helpful and seems weird that this is not the way this is handled already. Why two places for the same information?

We'd really like the Mark As Shipped tracking info to be added to the order page. We've given incorrect info to customers a few times because of this.

I've also had several instances where the Order History has disappeared on my orders if it's been too long. The tracking number should still be stored, and it should still be in the same highly visible place, since that's usually customer service issue #1.
Hi, everyone! Thanks for checking in! We're still researching this idea separately from the feedback we receive here.
In general, we look to this forum to help bring active ideas to the entire product team's attention to prioritize features for our developers. Feedback is recorded daily and we try our best to understand the ideas fully so we can make the most informed decision for each idea.

Any update on this? It seems strange that such a core feature is left in the "We're waiting to see if anyone else complains about the omission" state.

This one should be a no brainer for you guys. If we get calls from customers all day long about tracking information it is currently a significantly longer time to go into the "history" and look at the cryptic way in which the tracking number is hidden.
Why not have all tracking numbers displayed at the top of the page regardless (as displayed in the original image of this post). It should not matter if the label is generated within shipstation or externally. Having that number readily available only makes shipstation a more Uber cool solution! And shortens the time to investigate a tracking number.

On an order that has been fulfilled by Amazon, the shipment information should show under the order page. It's confusing because on the actual order page it shows that it has not been shipped in anyway. But on the fulfillment page it shows shipped via Amazon fulfillment. This information should show. See attachment.
Also, under the fulfillment information, it should show the Amazon order ID so we can easily look up the order under Amazon if there are any problems.
