Import Warehouse Location from Volusion
We would like a way to include "Warehouse Location" in the product attributes that are retrieved from Volusion. We have a custom product attribute in Volusion database for "WarehouseLocation" and it would be great if the that information could be imported to ShipStation
Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! We will need to review the integration documentation for Volusion to determine if they are sending us this information. As a third party integration, we can only use information that is sent to us from Volusion. We will update this request once we determine if this is possible.
Thanks for that info @Admin Hobbytown!
@everyone - While we review this, I recommend working on your products separately from your orders. You can import product details on the product page like @Admin Hobbytown has mentioned.

I have noticed that my export from Volusion API normally is only the Orders import into ShipStation, which makes sense but it doesn't include WarehouseLocation in that particular feed. Volusion stores that data in the Products feed. This would also be fine, except it means that ShipStation never sees that field to popular it within ShipStation. ShipStation would need to also get a feed for all products (which could be cumbersome for large datasets) and match them to the orders as they come in for that field to be populated for packing slips and whatnot.
We are working around the issue by importing a Products list with pre-filled WarehouseLocation data for the time-being, but would absolutely be in favor of ShipStation pulling this data in from the Order-source automatically. I would think this would be simpler if Volusion included that field in the Orders API feed, however, rather than needing to include the entire Products feed.
We would love to see this feature implemented as well. Would help us tremendously when picking orders in our big warehouse.
