HazMat service with my already in place contract from UPS
I ship smokeless powder which qualifies as Hazmat, a feature I need. Please, as we are Mac based, UPS seems to have no plans for an Apple version of World Ship and Hazmat has to be computer generated.
@James, thanks for checking in on this one. We’re still interested in this idea and we don’t have a timeline on it. This is something that will need further investigation from our end as well as working with UPS to be able to further integrate Hazardous Material support.
Hey team, it's 2020 now so I figured I'd check in on this. We could really use an update regarding Hazmat shipping on Fedex or UPS. I hate needing to train my team on two different systems. Right now I have to ship all the Fedex Hazmat stuff through their ShipManager software and then come back to Shipstation and mark things as fulfilled.
Would really prefer to just ship all my hazmat through Shipstation. With both UPS and Fedex having an API for hazmat now, I'd be happy with either provider. Can we get an update?
Hey folks, been nearly 3 years since the last response on this. Can you please combine this with the other hazmat threads? Right now my votes are spread amongst all of them and this would have many more votes if they were combined.
As a reminder, FEDEX now has a really great API for dealing with Hazmat shipments. This would make life way easier for us because we need to ship 50% of our orders Fedex Hazmat.

Hello, any update on this? Shipstation I think you need to make this a priority. It's a felony and $20,000 fine if we don't include the right stuff for hazmat.. PLEASE figure this out. Thank you.

UPS just released the Hazmat/Dangerous Goods APIs just a couple weeks ago. Also FedEx has had them for almost a year now! There are other Products integrating with both and I'd hate to have to leave Shipstation for another platform and have to relearn everything.
Hey folks, another bump here looking for an answer, especially given the Fedex API updates. Can we please get a look at this? Hazmat is a big market, and I'd be willing to pay an extra premium for this service, maybe an extra $50-$100 a month if it prints everything properly.
Second James and
I would like to see this for Fedex also. We want to ship Pool Chemicals through Fedex and currently we need to leave shipstation to comply with Fedex Rules.
Hey Folks, been a bit over a half year now, so I wanted to check in. Fedex has a great API running strong, and you can see companies that are currently using them here: http://www.fedex.com/us/hazardous-materials/dgready.html
Looks like a decent system, and it would be a phenomenal upgrade to Shipstation. I'm sure the guys at Fedex would love to have you on board.
Hey Team, thanks for the response! I literally JUST saw an email from Fedex after you responded. It's saying they just released a Dangerous Goods API. You can find the link to the email here: https://view.message.fedex.com/?j=feca15777563047b&m=fe921372756d067475&ls=fe6016717d62067d7d10&l=ff9c1572&s=fe5f16717d66037d7c17&jb=ff3515747064&ju=fe8a10757763007473&cmp=EMT-1004254-1-1-200-1000000-GLBL-US-EN-2017SOFTWAREREL&ET_CID=170706&ET_RID=21827093&LINK=vawp&r=0 Sorry for the length, but they didn't have any easy link available. This might give you guys something you can actually work with. Even if you're able to only cover ORM-D and Limited Quantity Exceptions in early releases, it would cover a great deal of our needs.
Thanks again, love shipstation and this forum. You guys are doing a way better job in the community than the likes of Xero and others I've seen. Thanks for the hard work.
Hey Shipstation team, I'm just curious about an update here. I know it says Under Review, but I was wondering if we could hear some news on how that review is coming? Thanks!
We ship compressed gas cylinders N.O.S. (UN1956 2.2) through both Fedex and UPS and both are a pain in the rear. Would love to be able to do this through Shipstation.
We ship a lot of Hazmat both FedEx and DHL and this would be very helpful.
We ship both UPS and FedEx and have some products that are classified hazmat. We would use this feature immediately and roll out Ship Station to the rest of our warehouse locations too.

I think this is a great idea. I would use the UPS hazmat integration if it was available.
We ship fully regulated Lithium Ion Batteries both domestically and internationally. I would like to see UPS and FedEx HazMat / Dangerous Goods tools in ShipStation. Currently we have to keep using UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship Manager for this, so we have to juggle all 3 shipping interfaces now which is not ideal.
