for printing: have to choose between getting a blank page every time or not getting the full order printed
we print label + packing slip on same page...but if an order is long (aka has a lot of items on it) then the whole order doesn't fit on that one page -- according to ShipStation there are only two options in this case: either have a blank page print after each and every order we print or have only 1 page print knowing that that 1 page may not include every item on the order...obviously neither option is a fix, more below from support
when this option is enabled, if an order has a lot of line items, the last few line items can get cut off if they do not fit on the first page.urrently this is working as intended, however, if you are interested, I recommend submitting this idea to our feedback forum (feedback.shipstation.com). Our product team reviews this weekly for new feature ideas and other users have had success using this forum.the packing slip
As a workaround you have a couple of options:
1. Modify the packing slip/label settings so that they do not print together and the packing slip prints on a single 8.5x11 page. To modify this, you can go to Account Settings [wrench in top right-hand corner] > Printing > Printing Setup > Document Options for both labels and packing slips.
- There is a setting on the back end that I can enable that will allow a 2nd page to print after the first page so that the cut off items will be included on the 2nd page. However, I do want to note that this option makes it so that a 2nd page will always print even if there is a small number of line items that are not pushed to the 2nd page. In this instance, a blank page would print out after the first.
