If "Gift Message" box is checked, print out Gift Receipt
If "Gift Message" box is checked, print out Gift Receipt which does not include pricing information on the packing slip.

If you are on a silver plan or higher, you can create a custom packing slip that does not include any pricing field replacements.
You can then create an automation rule that states if “Gift Order” “is true” then assign the custom gift packing slip template you created. The automation rule will apply to the order when it imports from the store.

You can build an automation rule to apply a different packing slip that doesn't contain the prices when it is a gift order.

You can set this up via rules/automation so that a different packing slip is printed when an order is marked as a "gift."

Hi, you should be able to copy your existing packing slip and remove the price and save it a "Gift - Packing Template". Then when you ship an order you can choose that packing slip from the drop down.
You can also add in the gift column and filter by "gift" then bulk upload to change to the "Gift" packing slip.
Also you can setup a filter and automation rule to do it automatically.
Not as easy as having a button, but should help.

We had this same problem too in the beginning. We actually had to go through Big Commerce and just remove the pricing from being highlighted so that it wouldn't forward over to ShipStation looking like a sales receipt. After doing that it now is just a plain packing slip that prints out.

When I click "This is a gift" on an order, it should not print the item price or order total on the packing slip.
