Comprehensive Line Item Billing Costs for Shipping
Hey folks -
We're running into an issue where the the order export file isn't picking up additional charges from Fed Ex that are being reflected in your online system.
An order is exported with a cost of: 34.60
Shipstation online shows a cost of: 36.83
More than likely, the difference is the home delivery fee not being picked up by the order export file.
We download the file on a daily basis and post it into our local order tracking spreadsheet.
We understand that there can be a difference between what's quoted in your system and what Fed Ex charges (that's not the issue).
But when we download the file and it doesn't reflect the costs that show up online in Shipstation, this is a problem. It means that we can't rely on our local order tracking sheet to keep a reasonable eye on shipping costs as they aren't being downloaded properly and requires a lot of manual updating on our end.
We need the order export sheet to pick up all shipping charges that are being reflected by the carrier that appear online in Shipstation.

This has grown to a significant issue and has affected nearly every single order that we've shipped since Oct. 18 shows one rate in the downloaded file and another rate in the online platform.
