Discounts/Coupons Imported As Line Items
We use ShipStation's line item export feature and it would be nice if Shipstation didn't assign Discounts/Coupons as line items. We're always running promotions and having to delete a extra line for hundreds of orders is time consuming.
Please stop assigning Discounts/Coupons as line items and put them in a place that makes more sense, like order details, order summary, or better yet "Discounts & Coupons".
In ShipStation’s new layout (formerly called ShipStation V3), discounts and coupons should not import as line items any longer.
Depending on which store(s) you are using, there may be other options to bring in discount codes as notes (this option exists with Shopify, for example), which you can use to then trigger automation rules, if needed.

We have the same problem. Discounts from Shopify import as a line item SKU, except its not a sku. As a result, our fulfillment team/software doesn't recognize the line item so orders cannot be processed. Instead, we have to manually duplicate all orders to get rid of that line item SKU. Ugh. A huge amount of work. Please help.
We use the "export line items" function to send shipment data to a 3PL fulfillment center, and they reject our files if the discounts, which have blank SKUs, appear as line items. We will work around it but it would be great if discounts were not included as items. We have Shipstation integrated with Shopify.

Seems very odd this has not been fixed. Seems a basic bug and it is quite disappointing to see a platform meant for shipping ignore these small details. This might cause us to look elsewhere.
