Support for Bundled Products / Update Inventory for Bundles
We have a few websites that sell products to wholesalers. For example we will sell a case of a single SKU. Each case has 12 units. It would be nice if SS could allow us to setup virtual bundles that deducted multiple units of a single SKU.

Yes. This is what we need.
And it is not just for selling product to wholesalers.
Retail customers are encouraged to buy a case of 12 units or bottles and are rewarded with a discount. If this feature was handled it would solve more than the obvious issues & desires.
We want to be able to present to the customers in layman's terms what they ordered in the terms wording that they ordered it so there is zero chance for confusion and customer service calls.
If they see on our ordering website and they see both bottles or cases of the same bottles available, and they order 3 cases... then we want to show them 3 cases on their invoice and packing sheets, not 36 bottles. But have the 36 bottles deducted. A virtual bundle as described above sounds like it would accomplish this desire.
This has been planned for almost a year. Will the functionality be added anytime soon? We want to track inventory in Shipstation but we have variety packs that use a composite of other SKUs we sell. We need the inventory to be able to track both.
We wanted to convert to using Shipstation for all of our product's inventory control, especially since Shipstation V3 now supports scan and check function which is great. However, ShipStation currently doesn't support bundled quantity scanning + linking which makes it only suitable for inventory control for simple products and not products that might need flexibility when it comes to bundling. Ideally, what we want to be able to do is create Parent SKU's with an overall quantity and child SKU's with corresponding quantity of parent SKU's.
Child SKU Bundle of 3.5 (or 4 if decimals are not supported, would be great if they are though)
Child SKU bundle of 7
If an order comes through for 7, can scan 3.5 x 2 and reduce from Parent SKU
We've been patiently waiting for Shipstation to come around and support this functionality. Our primary product is a 5 piece card table and chair set that ships in two boxes. Why should I pay HUGE amounts of money for a third party app that just complicates my workflow and costs my company money. We just need Shipstation to support bundles/kits. You wouldn't believe the headache we have to go through just to ship these products (No package set automation is available, so you can't say "For this product ship in these two boxes"). Not to mention the inability to have multiple packages on Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) orders that must use Amazon's Buy Shipping service. It's really frustrating for capable software to Almost do what you need it to.

The ability to map child items for bundled codes could be readily done using metafields. Shopify has many apps that can do this. Sad that SS can't handle.

Yes please! We need to split incoming orders that have a single SKU but represent a multipack, this will help us with inventory management in a big way.
PLEASE add this feature! Bundled sets help us sell more products, but at the cost of losing our ability to inventory accurately.
You have my votes. We will move away from ship station by EOY if this is not implemented. How does SS offer inventory management, but then if we have a basic multi-pack? It basically renders the inventory management functionality useless for our needs, and create a ton of work outside of the system to ensure multi-packs are picked and consumed from inventory correctly.
hurry up with this!!!! we need to have bundle inventory management working in SS. I have many "systems" / "kits" that are made up of SKUS that I need to track. the only work around at this moment is to prebuild these kits so I can store inventory that way... huge pain in the &%$#
+1 This is a really important feature and a great use of developer's time - huge value created, with a fairly simple implementation.

Any update as to whether this will be added? It's been several years since the idea was proposed.
I would like to see the possibility of bundled product. Right now, if we create a bundle of items under one SKU, we have to look at another list to see what is in that particular bundle. As the individual items within the bundle do not show up on the pick list; it becomes more time consuming to pick our orders and creates more opportunity for error because we can't check off our pick list for each item that we are picking. We sell these items as individual units, but if our customers order a bundle, they receive a discount. The following is an example of what I would like to see:
Sample Kit #1 7000XXXXXXXX
All sold under the mother sku and showing up on the pick list. This would really streamline our picking process and eliminated time spent looking at various lists to determine what is contained within a particular bundle.

From what I can tell, this subject and several of the others under the "bundling" and "kitting" categories are all asking for the same thing. I would have put my votes here, but I noticed that the suggestion titled "give us a way to create a "bill of goods" for SKU's that are kits" is asking for the exact same thing. Hopefully more votes gets more attention.
Please add "Bundle product" function in Shipstation inventory management like Magento, where a bundle product SKU breaks down into individual product SKUs, currently the Shipstation inventory system can not break down and pull individual SKUs for bundle products.
This is the one feature that is getting us really close to moving on from shipstation to another solution. How is it not a feature yet? It should be soo easy to split a bundle SKU into multiple child SKUs. PLEASE ADD THIS ASAP.

Very much needed! We have multiple items that are sold individually and in bundles.
This is the only feature that is preventing us from signing up and processing Order with ShipStation
How is this not a feature that is standard? It is a pretty basic tool needed in this industry.
YES YES YES please. 100s of hours wasted trying to find this solution which should be simple to integrate here!
Hello. I'm still really struggling with an effective and clean import of component product I sell on shopify to shipstation so it breaks into it's components. Is there still not a cleaner way to have a sku for bundle product come to shipstation, and have it properly broken into say 2 component sku's that make up the product so there are line items for each and proper shipping can be done and proper inventory tracking of the components? I'm trying to use so many different bundle apps and build in line items so zapier can read it and send and it's a HUGE trouble just to keep a clean looking single photo bundle item on the front of shopify store, and have the components (with height variant for example) properly sent to shipstation. I hope there is another solution now?

This is the only feature that is preventing us from signing up and processing some 4-5k orders a month with ShipStation. We sell 2 packs on Amazon but can't account for picking and shipping these orders with this very standard functionality. We would have to sign up for a 3rd party inventory system purely to work with this situation, print packing slips in that software, and then come back to shipstation to print shipping labels.

We sell bundles and individuals as well. How is this not a feature that is standard? It is a pretty basic tool needed in this industry.
