In Quick Search, all 12 fields are searchable (name, address, sku, etc). When trying to look up orders older than 6 months, there is a more limited set of options, and user needs to know what field the information is in.
While I'm sure this streamlines the search feature and increases response on large order databases, unfortunately not all customers order the same way everytime. I will have orders from Company A, with company reps named x, y, and z. Some orders from them will have company A as the recipient, but most of them will have A in the company name line, or sometimes one of the address fields, all while x, y, or z is the recipient (and email). This severely limits my ability to easily find all past orders from one company at a glance.
An advanced search that searches all fields like quick search, but from a custom date range, even if it comes with a warning that it may take time or even crash the system, would be much appreciated.
