Thanks for leaving your thoughts, everyone! We’re still reviewing this idea that has definite merit. For now, please leave your votes and comments to help keep this discussion active. Being specific in how this would affect your workflow and how you’re currently doing it will help our product team to implement new features.

Can you please add an option where we can add Avg. sales price for an item we sold in the pick list. Than way we can see the product we sold, quantity we sold and the Avg prc the item was sold for in one sheet.
Hopefully something like this happens soon. I love the software and features, but this functionality is now becoming one of the most important features for us as we continue to expand to more marketplaces.
The more attnetion and votes we give this the less they can ignore it :)

A way to download the pick list in an excel version would be helpful as well...

When we create pick lists, sometimes we need to change the format of the pick list. Or get the information into another file... Is there a way to get the pick list to be downloaded in an Excel version? It would be much easier to customize...
We have been looking for this feature since we joined ShipStation. Everything Nick Daniels mentioned would be a huge benefit. Our most pressing need is the ability to show information stored in the Custom Field 1, 2, & 3 on the picklist.
Anything new on this? We are kind of at the point where we have to have this in the shipping software to further expand in to other marketplaces.....
I think everyone simply wants a fully customizeable picklist. Similar to what you can do with the packing slips. The ability to format, pull variables, conditions, include attributes that are imported etc... This would be HUGE and from my research you'd be the only shipping software that's widely available to add such a feature. Shipworks is the ONLY other software I've found that is even capable of something like this, but I honestly do NOT like their software very much and they aren't too receptive to adding new useful features.
Hey @everyone, thanks for the updates and comments. As you may have already seen, we’ve just released our inventory management solution (and are free to talk about it!). This means two things: 1 we really want to improve inventory to help users get ship done! 2 some of our resources have opened up so we can look into the possibility of features like this and others in the forum.
All of this said and done, the product team still needs time to better understand what this solution looks like to our users, so please continue to provide helpful information and along the way, if we have something to show you, we’ll be sure to look here to invite you to check it out!
Please move the status from Under Review to Planned as this is a very important feature for our picking team. They currently pick with limited information and our workflow would be so much more efficient.
@zcolander: Right! Full customization in this picklist would definitely take shipstation to an entire new level! We could use it for so much more than we do now and it would allow expansion to many many more marketplaces without having to have any functionality built in to the core website, but rather everything can funnel to shipstation.
Make sure you guys use 3 votes on this!! The more votes the more attention!
We are really in need of this. As we have grown it would cut down on training time if we could design the pick list to fit our process of item location--> barcode--> description--> quantity.
We also need much larger images to reduce confusion.

This would definitely be a great feature
Any update on this, shipstation? I know this is possible with shipworks, but I'd love to see shipstation implement this kind of functionality as I like your software better.

This would greatly improve our efficiency by allowing us to sort in more than by item number or description. We have a logical item number system and our warehouse is laid out by year then item number and excel will allow us to sort in the exact layout of our warehouse, speeding up pulling and increasing accuracy. For now this is the biggest problem we have and it doesn't look like we are the only ones, with over 150 comments and this request being over 4 years old.
Fully customizable picklists are a must. I hate to say it, but I've looked at alternate shipping options just for this feature. That's how much of an impact it would have. With that said, I love shipstation and would like nothing more to see this feature come to life.

We would love customizable pick lists. A few things we'd add if we could:
-- Batch #
-- # of line items (different from total quantity)
-- # of orders
-- a '+' in front of the # required if the number is greater than 1 - currently the number is bolded, which is nice, but adding a '+' would enhance the usability.
-- Ability to sort on Warehouse Location then SKU - currently if multiple SKUs are in the same Warehouse Location, they will be grouped by Warehouse Location, but in a random order. The only way around this is to append the SKU to the Warehouse Locations for all our products, which is hacky and messy.
-- Ability to resize text, columns, margins, etc. - currently about 16 line items fit on one page for us on ShipStation's pick list, but using our old system, custom Volusion scripting, we could fit 34 without it being crammed. Part of that space efficiency was from having the Warehouse Locations pull in as line items rather than be repeated for each SKU in a column. That allowed the description to expand and usually fit on one line rather than two or three.
Here's the one I developed for our team, which is generated from batched packing slip printing in Volusion.
Hi @Nick Daniels Lighthouse LEDs , there is no update at this time. We are still working through other projects and have yet to get to this one. Thank you for your patience!
Any progress or update on the status of this request?

The items on the picklist is also in out of order for our case. We use Magento, which sorts the items correctly but once imported into ShipStation they lose their positions. You these two options for sorting items:
Can you add a "Default" sorting option where ShipStation doesn't try to sort, it just lists the items as they appear in the CMS?
