Fix Issue on Delayed Marketplace Notifications not being Sent in Batches from ShipStation Causing Amazon Throttling
Currently, if you have your Amazon marketplace notifications to be sent at the time a label batch is printed they all go through without throttling errors. However, if you have them set to be sent on a delay, or at a specific time in the future, this is causing the marketplace notifications to fail on Amazon due to too many API calls and Amazon is throttling us.
Why can't the original label batches we printed hours ago not be sent to Amazon's API as 1 single batch (as they were printed) as they would if we sent them at the time of printing. This would result in 1 API call per batch instead of multiple calls which cause Amazon to throttle us?
I have a support case open on this and I have also seen a similar request on this suggestion board linked below that has been closed.
Can this be implemented to avoid these throttle errors Amazon is sending us?
here is the closed request another user made.
Hi everyone thanks for bringing this up, we’re looking into resolving this issue. We’ll update you here when we have more information.
Over 2 year later and still not fixed.
Shipstation - the shipping solution that will get your amazon account suspended!
We have this happen on an almost daily basis as well. We've resorted to manually submitting to amazon daily also. Very frustrating that we can't trust shipstation to get this done.

Every day.....We have Amazon marketplace notifications set to be sent at a certain time after we print the label and it seems Shipstation is trying to send them one-by-one instead of in a batch. The one by one sending is causing Amazon to throttle our account and then the notifications fail. This will cause order info to update late with Amazon if we do not watch things.
We have been working around this by manually sending the marketplace notifications ourselves before the set time ShipStation is set to send them and this works fine because it sends them all in a batch this way.
This really should be fixed. Your support confirmed that this is flawed and should be looked at. We had a case open on this. If they could just batch these and send them in fewer API calls that would stop the failures.
ShipStation eventually automatically submits marketplace notification over, but usually it is well after Midnight the next morning and this makes the order late according to Amazon.
