Add Tracking Number to Export Orders
This is maybe small, but it'd be huge for us.
Can the tracking number please be included in the fields you can choose for Orders > Other Actions > Export Orders?

Hi @Erica!
Thanks for bringing this up! What goal are you looking to accomplish with this export? There may be another report that can help.
If you go to the Insights page and click on reports, you can run the “Shipped Items” report that will give you things like order number, SKU, and tracking number, too.
Please let us know here if this other report works for you by commenting here in the forum so we can open discussion with other users. Thanks!

For me, I would like to use a branded Tracking Page for my customers to see the status of their shipments. I cannot use ShipStation's own page, since I mark my items as shipped manually and don't purchase labels through SS.
I therefore want to use AfterShip for this. But, again because I mark my items as shipped manually, they cannot import the orders and tracking numbers from SS. The only way to import them is via CSV. So, I would like to be able to do an Export Orders for any orders I have marked as shipped that day, to import them into Aftership.
Your suggestion of using the Reports for this will not work for this. Of course, this whole issue could be avoided if you updated your API to let Aftership import manually shipped orders too. -.-

Thanks for the update @Rachel Quarnberg Audrey’s Bear. Thanks for clarifying your need to filter your orders down to a specific purchase order from ShipStation. While we wait for more users to add their thoughts, using a custom export from the Shipments page and filtering your purchase order with your spreadsheet tool will be how you can isolate this data today.

@Shipstation Admin: you did not understand the problem. I already know that I can add a custom field to an export from the shipments page. That isn't the issue. The issue is that the custom field is not searchable within the shipments page. In other words, when I'm on the shipments page and use the search field, data in my custom fields do not return any results (but, for some reason, results return just fine from the orders page). So, the requested fix is that "tracking numbers" be a selectable field for orders exports. Another fix would be allowing custom fields to be searchable from the shipments page.

Hi @protechtrader, sorry for the confusion. You'll have to go to the bottom of the reports page under "Raw Exports" and run that specific "Shipped Items" report. That one will provide you with the tracking number associated with your items.
And @Rachel Quarnberg Audrey's Bear--you can add custom fields to the exported data from both the Orders and Shipments pages. To get the tracking number and custom fields to show up I recommend going to the Shipments page, clicking on "Export" and "Export Shipped Orders...".
Once the window pops up, on the right side of the pop up will be a button called "Create a New Format" and check the box on the right that says "Show Advanced Options". This will allow you to create a completely custom document with the fields "Custom - Field 1" and "Shipment - Tracking Number".

Admin: When I run the "Shipped Items" report as you mentioned I do not get any tracking numbers. Just a summary of the items shipped. Has this changed?

I could use this feature too-
When we upload a bulk order export from Zulily into ShipStation, I use the "Custom Field" to add the purchase order number to each of the individual orders. I can bring up all of the orders in that Purchase Order by searching for that PO number in the "orders" section of ShipStation, but the "Custom Field" is not a field that is searchable in the "Shipments" section of ShipStation. So I have to do a lot of extra work to properly export tracking information for only the orders assigned to a particular Purchase Order. It would be really easy if I could just add the "tracking info" field to the orders export from the "Orders" section of ShipStation.
