Tracking number live notifications; Collaborate with online marketplace delivery windows
If there was some interface where we could see what shipped orders need our attention, this would help with a number of things. It looks like the back end coding for this already exists since we could see an icon next to the tracking number assigned to the given order (question mark, exclamation point, airplane icon, check mark.)
It would be nice if ShipStation sifted out and separated these shipments that need our attention on a separate tab based on the tracking numbers updates. Let me explain some situations:
- Tracking number hasn't been updated for an extended amount of time
- Non-delivered packages (a delivery attempt was made, or undeliverable as addressed)
- Package not delivered within the delivery window deadline
- Refused packages
If something like this was capitalized on we would be able to contact customers ahead of time, file necessary claims with the carrier, avoid conflict with our selling platforms delivery guidelines, etc.
Hopefully I explained this well enough. Please feel free to chime in!
Hi! And to help our product team best understand this idea, where would you guys like to see these orders needing attention appear? Would you like to see it be a new view on the Shipments page where these orders that fit a criteria are shown?

There needs to be an automatic email sent out to customer when a there is an attempted delivery - so they know USPS has it for pick up when they miss it.
Yes we need live notifications for shipments not being scanned, or shipment not delivered, or shipment being returned.

We are having a similar issue, is there a way to get notifications on tracking numbers that have no movement 4 days after postage has been bought?
I think a new page under the Shipments tab makes the most sense to me. Perhaps it could be sub sections of the existing "Delivery Exception" option. Just providing more information on what kind of exception with different icons would be outstanding.
