import customer messages to Shipstation
ShipStation is great place to manage many marketplaces all at once. However we sellers still need to login into every marketplace and check customers' messages, in case they need to change address or so on. I personally own 16 shops all connected to ShipStation, and it's really time consuming to check every single of them. I do not know if API allows, or if its possible at all. But having Messages window like ORDERS OR SHIPMENTS on top, with all customer messages from different marketplaces like Amazon, ebay, Etsy, Wish would make it for seller extremely easy. Would it be possible at all?
@tmpgarment – Thanks for bringing this up! Like you said it may not be possible at all and it depends if each Selling Channel sends us this information. We’ll keep this in mind for future updates, but for now we’d like to see more support in this idea before moving forward.

Even just providing the link to view each individual order page on their respective platforms is a step in this direction. They do it for Amazon, but not for Etsy and Ebay. Those are the only 3 I sell on currently, but that is a big reason for not expanding because of the time involved to monitor each of these platforms since all crucial bits of data are NOT pulled into SS.
It would be really awesome. I am sure everyone uses SS to control every selling channel at one place. Only thing that keeps us from this is customers' messages, we have to log in and check every selling channel. If small business like us do not have dedicated customer support person only responsible for answering or replying to customer, this feature could save about 1/2-1 hour every day. SS Users please vote if you like this feature to be considered for development. I bought up idea to import ETSY expedited orders as EXPEDITED and it was implemented. Thank you SS team
Volusion is ecommerce platform, messages could come using Volusion, but I was talking about every established marketplace like Amazon, eBay, Etsy and so on.
I use Volusion for my store, and all my messages appear in Shipstation with orders (via API integration), both from the customer, and private notes as well.
