Allow manual Blind Shipping
We do drop shipping for many customers and need to make the package look like it is shipping from our customer to their customer (even though we are shipping it). While shipping, we should be able to select "Other" from the warehouse field and manually type in a temporary "From address"
Hi guys, thanks for your feedback!
Is the Return Address that is listed on the “Ship From Location” the company address you are dropshipping for? And if so, is this not showing on the label?

We are a wholesale shop and are customers often need products Blind Shipped directly to their customers. This would be HUGELY BENEFICIAL
I'm sure there is some things I am missing as I'm new to ShipStation, but this would be a really useful integration:
1. Add a "Blind Ship" object in the GET call of True/False (we use an integration and this would be good to have so that if a customer selects "blind Shipping" when selecting shipping it would be automatically used to prevent user error)
2. Add "Blind Shipping" as an option in the "Ship From" dropdown of a package configuration. (maybe this is something that can be hid as an option in settings if not needed)
3a. If "Blind Shipping" is selected as the Ship From you would be able to manually enter the information for that one shipment. (maybe an option to add the newly entered address as a Ship From Location for future orders/packages)
3b. If "Blind Shipping" is recognized from GET it would automatically set this as the default and input address information.

Any updates on this? As long as the label doesnt have our name on it, it would be great. We sell to a lot of distributors and they don't want our info on the labels when we are shipping it to thier clients. They would prefer to have their name on it. Even if it meant keeping our address on the label but we could use thier name, that would work if that is all we could do.

Yes! Please add this!
This would be a big value add service if it could be implemented.
hi @ Joshua Barneck Gigabit Business Consulting, thanks for checking in on this! We're still reviewing blind shipping.
This has been under review for a long time, any update?

We have customers (Wholesale) who buy from us and ship to their customer (End User). We would like the label to reflect the (Wholesalers address).
Along with this we should be able to upload a custom packing slip as often the customer for which you would dropship will provide their packing slip to include in the box. If the API could allow uploading a .PDF packing slip file that could be printed instead of the default packing slip that would be awesome.
This is a big one for us! Seems like such a basic and necessary feature in the ecommerce day and age.
In the Settings section, under the shipped from location section, we are adding additional addresses and using these for our blind ship return addresses. The problem we are having is that no matter how we enter the return address it will always changes the company name to our company not the company name that was entered. What good is there in having this line if it is not going to be used? I even tried changing the company name in the ship from address and it still does the same thing. This does not work as a true blind ship. The best way I have found to work around this is to mark out this line with a black magic marker so the person receiving the shipment does not know who it was really coming from. But this looks very unprofessional and draws more attention to this address.
We would be shipping each package for "From" a different company. We wouldn't want to create a warehouse for each one, because we are dropshipping for hundreds of companies. One company might use us for only 1 package and then never use us again.

WHAT is the status of BLIND SHIPPING, Please ??? We need this capability too. While we can change the ship from address, it still shows our company name even if we change the name in the ship from field. That is silly, blind shipping is a standard in any industry, this should absolutely be an option.
I was told to come here and post about a change I'd like to see implemented for blind shipping. Obviously 7 other people tried this going back to December of 2015 so I am going to take a wild guess that this isn't on your list of things to work on and isn't in the foreseeable future, so I will post a bunch of stuff that you probably won't read.
As a response to your response to a post on August 04, 2016 - The rate is irrelevant when using FedEx or UPS as they will bill based on where it is picked up, the weight, etc. The "rate" you give is merely an estimate anyways, not set in stone.
Not being able to blindship for our business customers puts a serious damper on our ability to make them happy. If I can't make them happy because of your software, then you aren't making me happy. Make the ship from field editable... it is that simple. We just went live with your service on 5/22/17 and already I have run into roadblock after roadblock that I did not encounter with our previous software. People are asking for it, why not give it to them?
As a B2B business, the need to "Blind Ship" with our customer's name has come up many times. I usually have to do this directly outside of Shipstation on Fedex or UPS sites (totally inconvenient for many reasons). I can see how we could really benefit from this type of feature.

Would still like this basic feature implemented.

I would add that this needs to be automated, not manual. We should be able to automatically bring in "ship from" and "ship to" fields. Rates should be based off of a pickup location not a ship from address.
Hi, @moonandlola1! The Ship From Address must remain the physical Ship From Location in order to properly rate the shipment, such customization there is beyond our control. But, the Return To Addresses can be configured to represent the desired address for the business you are shipping for. Go into your Shipping settings->Ship From Locations->Deselect the "Same as the Ship From" box http://screencast.com/t/iWrFBpph and you can type in the address that you want to reflect on the label as the Return To Address.
I would also like to have this capability, I need it today, though. Any way you can make that happen?
We need this capability too. While we can change the ship from address, it still shows our company name even if we change the name in the ship from field. That is silly, blind shipping is a standard in any industry, this should absolutely be an option.
Dropshipping. We are a vendor/manufacturer. We have many wholesale customers that sell one of our products to one of their customers and they would like us to ship directly to their customer but to make the package look like it is coming from our wholesale customer (and not us). Otherwise, the consumer will know where to go and buy the product directly from the manufacturer (us).
