Include order information on insurance invoices
Currently, invoices for insurance charges do not show which orders the insurance charges are applied to. While it is possible to see a list view of orders with a column showing insurance information, it does not offer more insight in this situation.
3 votesThank you for bringing this up! Can you tell us a bit more about what you’re looking to do, or what questions you’re answering with insurance charges and order number?

Search for orders using tags.
Please could you add the ability for tags to be typed into the search bar and bring up specific orders. I know you can do it in the advanced search but this is a slower process. if orders can be searched for using a tag then a barcode for a specific tag could be scanned and the correct order(s) can be brought up increasing speed of workflow.
1 voteHi thank you for bringing this up! Can you tell us a bit more about what you’re looking to do with these orders once you’ve found them or why you’re looking up orders by tags?
You may be able to use filters to look for orders marked with specific tags instead. Here’s some information on how you can do that: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/205899958
Please let us know here in the forum what you think.

Poshmark added to Shipstation.
Are there any plans on adding Poshmark? I know they generate their own labels but, Shipstation would help in tracking the orders after the labels are printed. Maybe import the labels and mark them as shipped when printed. It would be nice to have all of our channels together.
Thank you

insert a tab that shows chronological order of shipments
Under the shipments tab there is no way to organize your shipments by time they were printed. For example, if I am printing a batch of 200 orders and the printer jams halfway through a label, I need to be able to see what the next label would be to make sure the printer didn't skip any when it resumed printing. The only option available now is to view the batch as a pdf and scroll through all the names until you find the name your printer left off at. Searching through a batch of 200 for a particular name…

Also, you mentioned needing to scroll through names within the batch should your computer jam to find where you left off. To make this a little easier, CTRL+F can be used in the browser to search for a name, or the Recipient column can be clicked to sort alphabetically. I hope this helps!

Transition Time to Shipped Status included on Packing Slip Field Replacement Variables
We wanted to add the time it took for an order to transition to shipped status to the packing slip. A Packing Slip Field Replacement is currently not available for this. It would be nice to have that variable in handy. To show our customers how much time it took for an order to be completed.

It would be great if we could have labels in batches labeled such as 1 out of 47 etc etc.
It would be great to have numbered orders in a batch because we have a large distribution center that would find that function to be really helpful

print labels on bottom of forms for label/packing slip combo forms
Could we have the option to print the shipping label on the bottom of the packing slip/label forms?
When the label comes out of the printer first, the pages are too top-heavy and fall off the catch tray. If the label were on the bottom, this wouldn't happen. Thanks!!

Add a way to see labels that were PRINTED but not SCANNED
This can help us request refunds for labels that were unnecessarily created

Allow Shipstation to pull from custom fulfillment services on Shopify.
We currently fulfill for an automotive company that sells thousands of car parts, but we just fulfill their clothing and accessories. About 300 skus. We want to be able to set the fulfillment services in Shopify to our company and then Shipstation can pull from just those items. Currently Shipstation can only pull from anything set to "Manual".

batch archive
Ability to restore an archived batch to active.

Allow multiple boxes to be set in shipping defaults of product
I have single products that ship in multiple boxes with each box being their own unique size and weight. With FedEx and UPS charging by dimensional weight of each box instead of shipment weight It would be very beneficial to be able to save this to the product detail. This will remove the human error factor in hoping my shipping team applies the correct package preset at the label creating process.

Need workflow automation to separate large products into different packages
We have a number of large items that need to be shipped separately by default. It would be useful to set up some automation that would apply a rule to those products that would always ship them in their own package.

Add Transit times back to the Order Summary Screen
I know there's Delivery Times/estimates given from the order summary view, but no longer the shipping confirmation window you'd see after filling out the shipping info section then clicking Create Label.
We utilize barcode scanners and the "Ship the Order(s)" option here at work to quickly process these orders. However, we need to insure that the shipping methods we're selecting are appropriate for the advertised transit times the customer is choosing. We're no longer able to see these times from that window after the update. If possible, adding the Requested Shipping Method as well would be helpful.
This window is…
3 votesHi @NateE, thank you for bringing this up! I see your account has a newer version of the cost summary window (there should be a green bar across the bottom of the window). When I looked into my account with the previous version, “Delivery Time” or estimated delivery time only appears in the order details window and the rate calculator.
Can you describe to me more about where in your workflow the delivery time should be appearing?
Something else that may help you is an early access feature called Scan to Print. This will help you create your labels quickly using barcode scanners like you are today but with more information. Here’s what it looks like and how you can have it turned on for your account: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/115014262288

Create Automation Rules for Multiple Packages
If an order exceeds a certain weight, I'd like for there to be an automation rule that separates the shipment into multiple packages. We are a coffee company that doesn't ship anything over 40 pounds, but we regularly get orders over 40 pounds, so it would be great when we get an order like that for an automation rule to separate the order into multiple packages.

Assign Order Within Order Screen
It would be great to be able to assign an order to someone from within the order itself, not just at the summary list screen with the checkbox.
1 voteHi, thanks for bringing this up! Can you tell us a bit more about what information you’re looking for when you are viewing the order details window?
You may find that the order side bar can supplement the information you’re looking for. Here’s how you can view it: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206639147

Add Internal Notes, Notes From / To Buyer to quick search
It would be extremely helpful to search orders based on data inside of these notes.
The advanced search function for this is extremely clunky to use.
7 votesHi, thanks for bringing this up! Can you tell us a little bit more on what you’re looking for in these notes?
What might help is to use the order filters for notes (internal notes, notes from / to buyer are located under “Other”) instead of quick search depending on what you’re looking to do with these orders once you’ve found them. Here’s how you can use filters: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/205899958

Order status change alert
It would be great to add an order status alert functionality. For instance, if an order moves from "Awaiting Payment" to "Awaiting Shipment" then I would like to get an email or SMS notification that this has happened. Most of the time this status change happens automatically, when an order in WooCommerce changes status and the store gets synced with ShipStation. So I'd like to know when that happens. Thanks.

ecomdash
We use ecomdash and have the connection set up. It would be nice to be able to feed all stores data into Ecomdash. This way we keep both systems up to date and all shipping information flows to ecomdash.

Could you elaborate a little on what you mean by “feed all stores data into EcomDash”?
