  1. Edit and Delete Customers

    We need to be able to edit or delete customers from the database without having to upload a csv file. Below are a couple examples for when this would be helpful. I'm sure others here will agree that some simple database management would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Editing/updating "Customer info" or being able to delete a customer

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to go into the "customer" tab to update their info. Having to create a new order to change info, then having to delete the order from the orders page, is a little frustrating. Sometimes it saves both addresses, and shipments have gone to the wrong address.

    And being able to delete a customer completely would be awesome. We sometimes only ship to a person once, or having a customer being terminated, not being able to just delete the customer. I have to update their info and put DO NOT SHIP TO.

  3. CONFIRMATION SMS

    it will be a great idea if we were able to send shipment and delivery confirmation via text (SMS), not just emails. As you know some people still not used to emails, tthey dont use emails at all, but they can text, if we can only send shipping confirmation via SMS it will be great, i know there are other softwares that uses this, but i am surprised not to see it as one of your options.

  4. Email notification when an On Hold Order is released for shipment

    We send a lot of subscription orders on a monthly basis that are entered into the system as "On Hold" orders at the time the subscription is purchased. Orders get released from On Hold status and sometimes sit for a couple of days if no other orders are going out. We need an automated email sent to us alerting us an On Hold order has been released for shipment. It would make our workflow more efficient.

  5. New Customers & automation

    Hi, I am looking for a way to IDENTIFY new customers automatically. Currently all our orders are imported from an OpenCart shopping. When a customer places an order they all come in the same way, whether new or repeat. I currently want to have a indicator (a buyers note) that we would have attached automatically to the NEW customer. So that when we print our packing lists, we will see the message and the team would then know to put in Material in their package.   6. Controlling the Font on Email Templates

    Please make the Items List font editable. Your documentation here https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206639917-How-do-I-edit-my-email-templates-source-code-HTML- says that we can control the font that the email templates use, but after going back and forth with support for over a week, we were told that we cannot fully control the font. I quote, "Add CSS either inline or between <style> tags at the top of the template." In fact, an error code will appear when using the CSS style tag.   9. woocommerce customer notes

    Customer facing notes are written back to woocommerce when a label is created.

    They are misleading to customers. We have shipstation send an email "When the package hits the mailstream". I would rather have this note sent over from shipstation at the same time or be able to control this as a customer facing note/internal note. An order isn't really completed until it's shipped and printing a shipping label doesn't mean it's shipped.

    I want to send notification to requesters and recipient. As of right now, only recipient can receive an email notification when a shipment is processed.

  12. ShipStation automatically emails a Delivery Exception notification

    It would be great for ShipStation to send an email whenever the status of an open shipment changes to "Delivery Exception" or another undeliverable status. This would eliminate the need to manually check the delivery status or retroactively dealing with an upset customer contacting us because an order hasn't shown up. It would also allow the customer see immediately that there is an issue with shipment and perhaps troubleshoot it on his/her own. Our packages are also time sensitive so figuring out why a package can't be delivered as fast as possible would be helpful!

  13. When a shipment notification fails send an email to the seller

    When the shipment notification fails on any of the four steps send an email to the seller to retry the failed steps, and also notify the seller of the cause of failure and possible ways to fix it

  14. Out for Delivery email notification

    ShipStation should add "Out for Delivery" email notification. Customers want to know when to expect delivery, and it's a huge help to know that the package is being delivered the day of. It should be an easy feature to implement?

    Right now, there are only 2 types of email notifications: In Transit (when mailpiece enters mailstream) and Delivered notifications.

  15. Branded Returns Page should have Language as a configurable option

    We are a Canadian business, and our webstore is available in both official Canadian languages: English and French. Your Returns Page, however, is only available in English. This will certainly cause some frustration for our francophone customers who prefer being served in their mother tongue.

    There are two ways to do this:
    1. When the Returns Page is created in each Store within ShipStation, language should be an option.
    2. Language can be customized using code at the end of the URL. Google Forms does this for French by adding "?hl=fr" at the end of the URL.

  16. Allow sending Shipment Notifications to multiple email addresses

    We have many many clients who want shipping notifications sent to multiple people in their organizations. Or, with some clients, we want a notification sent to both us and them.

    ShipStation currently allows on email address, despite the fact that the email address field can contain at least 757 characters (I didn't feel the need to check for more than that).

    All of the email systems I'm familiar with allow for multiple email addresses to be listed by using a separator, usually a comma or a semi-colon, to distinguish between unique email addresses, like this:
    "name1@company.com;name2@company.com;…

  17. Shopify SMS FB Messenger Support

    With Shopify rolling out order updates via SMS and FB Messenger, any plans to support these features?

    We're currently using ShipStation's Order Shipped email simply because the tracking page it provides is better than Shopify's. In turn, customers who subscribed to be notified via SMS and FB Messenger do not get any messages when their order ships out because ShipStation is basically disabling the trigger on Shopify's side when it fulfills the order and update Shopify. This is what we found out after talking to both ShipStation and Shopify support.

  18. Create "Verify address" button to notify customer to update their invalid addresses.

    I think it will save me lots of time to not manually asking customers to update their shipping address because when shipstation systems shows that their address is invalid.

    I need to manually send them an email and ask them to update their address. This takes time and customers orders sometimes is held longer because of that.

  19. Voided Shipment Emails/ Updated Tracking relayed to customer.

    I would like to have the ability to set up ShipStation to generate an email that gets sent to my customers when shipments are voided.

    As it is, if a change needs to be made to a shipment due to incorrect "ship from" addresses, 3rd party shipping account info, or any number of possible scenarios that are most often due to inconsistent automation rules, no information is relayed to the customer that a shipment has been voided.

    If I can set up a shipment confirmation email, why can't I set up a voided shipment email?

  20. It would be great if I could customize an email template with the customers first or last name

    Being able to do this adds a personal touch and the email doesn't seem so Generic
