  1. Filter "Hidden" Line-Item Properties from [Item Options] (ShipStation)

    Line-items properties in Shopify typically represent item options, such as special instructions (e.g., the text for an inscription). These are automatically imported to ShipStation as part of the line-item's [Item Options] field, which can optionally displayed on Packing Slip Templates.

    Sometimes, however, these are used for internal communications between e.g. Shopify apps. To support this, Shopify themes have a built-in convention where line-item properties prefixed with an underscore (e.g., _internalOption) are hidden from the customer:

  2. Use secondary Site Order ID as Order # for eBay orders through Channel Advisor

    Our Shipstation account is integrated with CAdv. When it comes to eBay orders, Shipstation picks up the site order ID instead of secondary Site Order ID which is a true eBay order number, as shown below.
    Site Order ID: 181990890174-1613746963008
    Secondary Site Order ID: 10609
    ChannelAdvisor Order ID: 126190
    Can you remap (reconfigure) Shipstation so it would pick up Secondary Site Order ID?

  3. Improve Walmart Integration

    The walmart integration does not set values for email, customer ID, or payment method. While those fields are not necessary to ship the order, we pull all shipments out of shipstation via the API to import into our financial system of record (Netsuite).

    If no customer ID is provided by walmart, use the internal shipstation customer ID so it's not null.

    If no payment method is supplied by walmart, hardcode something like 'walmart'.

    Email address would be nice to ask walmart to provide. Ebay and Amazon provide it.

  6. Stamps.com vs Endicia

    We understand the push towards Stamps.com vs Endicia. However, as a 3PL, we have some clients that already utilize Endicia, and thus we have had to altogether not allow Stamps.com, because they do not play well together in ShipStation.

    Even if our default account is an Endicia, if we have a Stamps.com as a supplementary account (or for example, that belongs to a specific client of ours), it will default to the Stamps.com. That does not work, because it needs to default to whatever account we set as default, regardless of which carrier that is, not automatically default to Stamps.com…

    Hi!

    When creating labels with either Endicia or Stamps.com, do you have your account setup to display the carrier services based on Postage Provider or Carrier?

    Using Postage Provider will allow you to see both Endicia and Stamps.com as the postage provider option when creating a label.

    We'd like the ability to use tracking.ourdomain.com as the tracking URL and remove the ShipStation branding. This could be a premium add-on for a few extra dollars a month.

  8. Shipwire integration with Walmart Marketplace; ShipStation's current order processing does not work

    I’m trying to automate shipping between the Walmart Marketplace and Shipwire’s warehouse which is where I’m storing my inventory. However, when I go to send the order to Shipwire, I receive this error message: "An item with the same key has already been added."

    Apparently, there is a problem with how ShipStation is reading the line item amount vs. SKU quantity and as of right now, your support team said there is no definitive timeline for when that will be fixed.

    For context, I was attempting to send and order with 3 units of the same SKU to Shipwire.

  10. Apply Shopify "Free Shipping" discount to the shipping charges ONLY.

    When you have a "Free Shipping"discount code in Shopify, the code is interpreted as a line item and is applied to the product total. Then the original shipping cost (pre-discount) is re-applied.

  11. USPS Express Mail Postage Refund for Late Shipments

    I know this is a longshot due to the way USPS works, but it would be a huge time saver to be able to request a postage refund for late Express Mail shipments directly from ShipStation.

    I know USPS is trying to make it difficult for shippers by making us personally go down to our local Post Office and fill out a form that isn't available online (for this reason, I'm seriously considering removing Express Mail as a shipping option for our customers and just making them choose FedEx).

    When viewing orders, SS provides a link for Amazon orders so that you can click it and it opens a new tab going directly to that Amazon order page (and you can read your own seller notes from there)... We need this same functionality for Etsy.

  15. Tracking support for LSO, DICOM, & UDS

    Please add tracking support for the following 2 carriers.

    LSO - https://www.lso.com

    Dicom - http://east.dicom.com/

    UDS - https://www.uniteddeliveryservice.com

    There may be some other carriers we use sometimes but if you don't support them, when we select "Other" in the drop down, you should give us the ability to add the tracking link manually.

  16. Import Amazon.ca FBA CA (Canada) orders. [like we can now with Amazon.com FBA (USA)]

    Hello, for Amazon.com there is an option for:

    "Import FBA Orders
    These orders will be visible in “Insights” and either “Pending Fulfillment” or “Shipped” based on their status. Note: FBA orders will count towards your plan volume."

    When will this ability be available for Amazon.CA ?

  17. API - Allocate/Deallocate

    The API should allow us to allocate/deallocate orders. I use the API to put orders into the system and until they are shipped, my inventory levels are not decreased, so I have no idea how much stock I have until I manually go allocate each order. We ship on a specific schedule, so because we don't ship every day, I always have outdated inventory information unless each morning we manually go and allocate orders.

    Seems simple enough to add as the UI does have an API call that does this very easily. Thanks!

  18. DHL eCommerce - Canada Integration

    Would love to see DHL eCommerce comply with Shipstation for shipments from Canada. It currently complies with USA but not yet available for Canadian Shipstation customers. We are located in Toronto and are eager to start shipping with DHL eCommerce as they offer incredible resources, but without Shipstation integration it isn't feasible.
    Can we get this implemented?

  19. FBA splits order

    I have orders that are sold on my website via BigCommerce. They are imported into ShipStation and then I have FBA ship them to the customer using ShipStation.
    My problem I run into is the orders that have more than 1 item. When FBA breaks up the order this causes more than one tracking number. Only the first tracking number is sent to BigCommerce and to the customer via ShipStation and my website. The e-mail states everything is being shipped together and the tracking information is included. I then get customers e-mailing and calling that the order was not complete…

    Allow delivery to UPS Access Points. According to UPS, this requries a different kind of label, and the cost is a little different - somewhere between ground to a commercial address and ground to a residential address.

    Additionally, any further comments for how often UPS Access Points are being used outside of ShipStation on a daily/weekly basis would be very helpful!
