  1. Adding An Post (Ireland) and other European Carriers

My company is opening a branch in Europe to better serve our customers there. Shipstation has been an invaluable asset here in the US, but unfortunately, does not integrate with any of the European carriers we need (specifically An Post out of Ireland).

  2. Support GetEligibleShippingServices via the API for the amazon_shipping carrier

When using the amazon_shipping carrier for merchant-fulfilled Prime, there doesn't seem to be a way to get a list of the services that meet the two-day eligibility requirement: shipments/getrates returns an error because it's not associated with an Amazon order. It'd be nice if shipments/getrates could be upgraded to support this call in the context of an order, or if there was an orders/getrates endpoint that would return rates for a given order. This way, we could see what services are actually available, akin to the GetEligibleShippingServices call in Amazon MWS.

Hey @Nicholas, thank you for bringing this up! Currently, we’ll show you all the services but if you go to the rate calculator you’ll be able to see which ones are applicable.

If you’re looking at the order details window, there is a button that says “Send to Calc”. This’ll send the postal code, weight, and size (if you’ve entered them) to the rate calculator to show you available services.

If you’re looking at the order from the sidebar and grid, there is a calculator icon next to the Ship from field that will do the same thing.

Hopefully this will help you while we wait for other users to chime in.

  3. Allow users to sort customer records by Store, not just Marketplace.

We have 2 stores (retail and wholesale) within one Marketplace (Shopify). It'd make order processing & sorting a bit easier if we could easily break down Customers by Store, not just Marketplace.

  4. Ability to Export Internal Notes from the Shipments Page

It would be a good idea to be able to Export Internal Notes from the Shipments Page. It can already be exported from the orders page.

We would like to import our customers from ShipStation into QuickBooks with as much detail as possible. QuickBooks has an area to enter notes, and they can be imported if that can be exported from ShipStation.

Thanks for bringing this up! What kind of information are you looking to pull over into Quickbooks?

If you’re looking for a way to export data out of ShipStation, you can get the internal notes from your orders page. Once you’ve clicked on “Export orders”, check the box that says “show advanced options”—this will reveal much more information about your orders including the data you’re looking for.

Please let me know here if this isn’t what you were looking for so we can see if there’s anything else you can do today!

  5. Warning when Shipping Cost is greater than Shipping Paid

How about a warning that can be turned on in setup, that stops an order from being shipped because the (shipping) rate is greater than (Customer) Shipping Paid amount.

This would need to happen during the shipping process AFTER the weight from the scale is imported/entered and the new rate calculates. The reason this is needed is not all stores can calculate the box to be used and add the weight to the total order weight.

An example is USPS International First Class. Up to 8 oz the rate is around $13.25. If a customer places an order for 6…

  6. Sending "Non-trackable tracking numbers" feature should be on store level basis and not a Global setting

This feature which is located in International settings ( don't know why since it also applies to domestic shipments) should be selectable on an individual marketplace level basis.

We ship a lot of merchandise via First Class letter mail. First Class letter mail generates an Intelligent Mail Barcode whichShipstation treats as a non trackable tracking #. Amazon permits this level of service with "no tracking" on orders under $10. We don't want this "non trackable" number sent to Amazon because they send this number to the customer which results in numerous emails ( customers complaining tracking number doesn't work etc

  8. Pressero integration

You really need to add an integration to Pressero. I along with many many users in the print industry have no easy way to ship out orders. This integration would be extremely helpful for completing the shipping process. Currently the only way is by manually creating labels. They are the "Leading" for Web 2 Print software for the entire printing community. It should be an easy integration since they also connect with Zapier. You can check them out at http://www.pressero.com

  9. usps pick up confirmations

Sorry If I have posted this multiple times. USPS supplies a pick up confirmation number when you schedule a pick via USPS.Com or Stamps.com. This number is requested when you call the post office to inquire about pick ups. This is very useful. Currently Shipstation does not supply this

  10. Add TagIDs to the Post data for Custom Stores

We have TagIDs set up within station, and we've added a Custom Store Integration to interface with our other site.
However, we are unable to send TagIds with the XML for the order in the post data.
It would be nice if TagIDs were one of the fields that could be sent in the Custom Store Integration XML.

  12. Add storeId to the Shipment Model

The Shipment Model does not include the storeId which is a crucial element of an Order.

Basically it is a property of the "advancedOptions" which is always returned as null in the Shipment Request. Why?

    Hello!

Thank you so much for voting on this feature and helping us continue to improve ShipStation. We are currently reviewing an integration with DarbySmart and will be sure to update you once we have made a final decision.

As developing a seamless integration typically requires cooperation from both parties, we recommend reaching out to DarbySmart and expressing your interest in an integration to help expedite this process.

Please note that you can also use our Custom Store or API documentation to create your own integration with this selling channel as well. You can review our documentation here: http://www.shipstation.com/developer-api/

    Thanks again,
    ShipStation

  14. Add U-PIC (UPIC) insurance

Please add U-PIC insurance (u-pic.com) since it is cheaper than ShipSurance and hassle free to file a claim.

    Hello,

Thank you for submitting this request/voting and helping us to improve ShipStation! We will review an integration with U-PIC and let you know once we have an update.

In the meantime, you can always select “Other” as the insurance provider in ShipStation, then add the insurance to the package outside of ShipStation.

    Thanks again!

  15. Integration with VendorNet for drop shipping retail relationships.

Some of our pending retail relationships use VendorNet and we would like to keep all shipping within ShipStation, so an integration with VendorNet would be great.

    Hello,

Thanks for bringing this up! We’ll keep this in mind, but would like to see more interest from other ShipStation users before we pursue a partnership. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!

  16. Puerto Rico Rate to State error

I receive multiple orders from Puerto Rico everyday

Each time I have to manually change the state to PR from Puerto Rico or i get a rate to state error

Shipstation should be able to change it to PR automatically

  17. SED citation on Label and customizable commercial invoice

We have been employing shipstation as our primary shipping software domestically. We would also like to incorporate shipstation as our primary shipping software for "BULK INTERNATIONAL" Shipments. Currently shipstaton does not offer the ability to add the SED/EEI filed to the label that is generated. To ship internationally the label must have an AES Citation. Shipstation does not cover EEI,Most shipping software such as shiprush and shipwire already incoporate these features and they should be easy to implement. In addition to the AES citation we would like an editable platform for commercial invoice generation. Currently Trade documents are generated with the…

    Hello,

Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! We will need to review the API documentation with our carriers to determine if this is possible with our current integrations. As of now, we send all shipping parameters to a carrier, they generate the labels/manifests/customs declarations/etc in real time, send it back to us, then we allow you to easily print them in our software.

We will be sure to let you know once we have an update!

  18. Support for USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG)

Would it be possible to add support for the USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) shipping option?Details:https://www.usps.com/ship/gxg.htmI don't see it mentioned on Express1's site, by Endicia supports it:http://www.dymoendicia.com/tools-resources/harrys-hints/global-express-guaranteedSometimes we have orders that ship in boxes too large for USPS Priority & Express, but GXG allows the larger sizes. (ex: 24"x15"x24" to Australia)UPS supports that size, but the rates are significantly higher then USPS GXG.Thank You,Rich

  19. Ability to download tracking information of orders fulfilled by FBA

In the reports tab, you can only export orders which are shipped via a carrier. If you use a fulfillment provider (like FBA) then you cannot download/export those orders. I think this is a bug. When I reported it as a bug, support team asked me to request as a new feature

    Hello,

Thank you for submitting this request and helping us to improve ShipStation! You can export your FBA/Shipwire fulfillment information by going to Shipments > Fulfillments > Export.

However, we will discuss adding these shipments to the Shipped Orders report on the Insights tab. At this time, that report is reserved for shipments made within ShipStation. We’ll let you know once we have an update!

    Thanks again!

  20. Integration with SalesForce

As I am sure that many of us use SalesForce for our CRM, it would be great if ShipStation would take all of our customer transaction data and put it into our SalesForce ORG and enable us to ship directly through SalesForce. Sending return labels through SalesForce would also be awesome!

    Hello!

Thanks for submitting this request! While we don’t have a direct integration with SalesForce, there is a service called Cloud Conversion that can send integrate your SalesForce and ShipStation accounts. You can learn more about them here: http://www.cloudconversion.com/

Please note that this will be a beta integration until there is an official partnership in place.

    Thank you,

    ShipStation
