  2. DHL eCommerce SmartMail Parcel Expedited Max

    This shipping option is a game changer for expedited domestic shipping. Guaranteed 2-3 business day delivery broken down by the ounce at under 1 pound. Only problem? ShipStation / Endica won't integrate this one shipping method, forcing us to use a CSV batch upload process that's ridiculous to get the job done.

    Bottom line? I'm still using CSV because the savings are worth it. Integrate the shipping method already and be done with it.

  3. Support Square Modifiers in Transactions

    Somewhat surprisingly Shipstation does not support syncing square modifiers (a fairly important part of a sales transaction) which means that a user has to log into square and look at every order before shipping.

  4. Access to Inventory data on Zapier

    It would be nice to be able to pull over Inventory information from ShipStation. This could be a trigger or a search step.

  6. API - Make Custom Package types available via API

    Allow custom package types, setup in SHIPPING > PACKAGES > Your Packaging, to be passed via the API. We import shipment data via API to Tableau reporting server. Having NULL values under package type makes it tough to report on volume for specific package types.

  7. Expand XML fields - ShipByDate

    Please upgrade/update the XML schema to be closer in alignment with your API models. Currently, for example, I'm unable to pass "shipByDate" via XML for custom stores. I don't have API access to another company's shipstation because they have sensitive data. They would prefer to use a "Custom Store" via the XML feed, but we're unable to send sufficient data points like you can in the API.

    Ideally, the data points should match between API and XML feed.

  8. Allow ecommerce bridge for ship quote with dimensional

    I love Shipstation, but there are still some holes that could make your product more competitive and truly useful.

    Dimensional shipping is a problem for many large ecommerce shops, or shops that offer a wide variety of products. As we all know shipping is actually based on volume, not weight. Yet most ecommerce packages can not give a correct ship quote for larger items as they do not quote the volume of the items.

    Some shops address this by building the shipping costs into the item they are selling, but this only works well if the customer is buying one…

  9. Canada Post GST/HTS Reporting

    Currently, Shipstation does not break out the GST/HST tax that is part of the cost of each label the shipper pays to ship within Canada. This value is returned (or can be requested) via Canada Post's web API. Canadaian businesses need to report the amount of this tax they have paid. All we would need is for SS to request the tax in the API and record it for each label created.If we could export this field in SS reporting, we'd be able to significantly improve automation of our accounting.   10. Add support for FedEx Trade Networks and other customs brokers

    With our old shipping software we had the ability to add in customs brokers (such as FedEx Trade Networks) for our Canada International orders. ShipStation doesn't currently support this. Adding this functionality would greatly simplify our workflow!

  11. Royal Mail - Small and Medium Parcel

    I am finding the Royal Mail integration quite easy to get on with, however there are 4 tiers of Format not 3.

    Letter, Large Letter, Small Parcel and Medium Parcel

    We only have Letter, Large Letter and Parcel. Can this be remedied on the defaults so we aren't being charged for the wrong parcels? I understand we can add our own, but it's confusing for our users.

  12. Shopify Timeline - New Internal note system - needs to be integrated.

    Shopify used to use (notes) and information from that section shows up in ShipStations (Notes from Buyer ) Section. Shopify implemented new way to leave notes and it is called (TIMELINE) notes left in that section do not appear in shipsattion and creates internal communication problems.

    it would be ideal if the TIMELINE notes would up in ShipStation's Internal Notes Section since they serve the same purpose.

  13. Royal Mail Door Step scanning

    All our UK Parcels with Royal Mail are now scanned on the doorstep when they are delivered or a delivery attempt is made. When I used the Royal Mail DMO app you’d be able to get the tracking/parcel number to see if it had been scanned or delivery attempted.

    I’ve tried to see if I can get it from the printed label but can’t seem to get that working.

    In Shipstation at the moment it only supplies a click through link for internationally tracked items.

  17. Have "Notify Market Place" checkbox defaulted.

    We have to check the box for "Notify Market Place" for every single shipment. If a user forgets, the marketplace doesn't get updated and we have orders sitiing in our website listed as processing.

    Seeing as to how having that box unchecked would be the rarity, and having it checked would be the majority, I feel this should be default checked with the option to uncheck if necessary.

    Hey there! Thanks for your great idea.

    In case you weren’t aware, you can click the header for “Notify Marketplace” when marking orders as shipped and this will check the box for ALL orders you are marking as shipped.

    We’ll keep this in mind but would like to see more interest from other users before we pursue this idea. If you know any other users that are interested please send them here!

  18. Quickbooks Online integration

    When importing orders into Quickbooks Online it sets the Sales Receipt date to the day I import them. Why not set the date to the shipping date? Please fix this. It makes no sense to use the import date and at least the shipping date would be more accurate as to when the order occured. Imagine importing 300 orders from August and then having to go back and fix the date on each one because you imported them in October.

  19. Please update current integrations with UPS, FedEx, and DHL to support SED/EEI filing

    Hi,
    We use ShipStation domestically only. ShipStation doesn't have the ability to ship international orders when the individual commodity's are worth more than $2500.00 without additional customs documents.
    When we signed up for ShipStation we were under the impression that everything was handled through ShipStation until we were contacted by the carriers seeking customs documents. Please add support for EEI filing through the carriers to fix this. For international shipments we have been forced to ship through the individual carriers, fixing this issue would bring a lot more business to ShipStation.

    There is a demand for this! Who has time…

  20. Delivery Time API

    The ShipStation API has a "Get Rates" endpoint that allows a consumer to retrieve rates for carrier shipping services, much like the Rate Calculator in the web interface (except the API requires you to specify the carrier).

    In the response, the call returns the following fields:
    - serviceName (FedEx First Overnight)
    - serviceCode (fedexfirstovernight)
    - shipmentCost (87.8)
    - otherCost (2.63)

    In the web interface, it also returns Package (which I'm not too concerned about) and Delivery Time ("7 days," "3 days," etc).

    It would help me tremendously to have the API report the Delivery Time for each rate…
