  1. Returns

    I'd love to use the Branding Returns portal, however I'd really like to have a way to limit the Return Reason choices that the customer sees first. For example, I don't offer a warranty, and I don't allow a straight return because a customer changed their mind. In that case, I may offer store credit. It would be nice to have an option that says Return for Store Credit, or a way to customize your own fields.

    This will allow billing for servicing RMA's 10x easier.

  3. Need notification if sync fails

    Our store connects to SquareSpace and our shipping is supposed to be fully automated. We don't find out if a sync fails unless we log on to ShipStation (which we don't want to have to do daily). Please send out a notification if the syncing fails for more a couple of hours so that we can troubleshoot it immediately (and not 5 days later when we realize our products didn't reach our customers yet).

  4. Selecting Shipping Suppliers in New Order window

    Please add a drop down menu option that will allow a user to select a shipping account, not service in the New Order or New Manual Order windows. Currently you have to save the order then reopen full screen to make that change which is a non-intuitive extra step. We use for example 2 FEDEX and 2 UPS accounts depending on the type of shipment. Should be an easy update to your service.

  5. Exporting shipping carrier

    Currently ShipStation only sends tracking numbers to ChannelAdvisor and not shipping carrier/class information. This can cause problems if an order is shipped via a different carrier than what has been specified by ChannelAdvisor and imported into ShipStation. If ShipStation would also export shipping carrier information along with the tracking no. if may eliminate some of these problems.

    Integration with taxcloud.net would be amazing. This would save me about 2 hours monthly on NC sales tax reporting. I know that's not a lot but it makes it a hassle when it doesn't have to be.

  7. ShipStation should allow a way to connect to the cost code field in Stamps.com

    Apparently ShipStation does not have a way to connect to the cost code field in Stamps.com. This feature would be EXTREMELY beneficial to all users who have integrated Stamps.com. Cost codes in Stamps.com are used so that the user can designate the costs of each stamp/label to each individual e-commerce platform they use or to specific salesmen within the company. This is helpful at the end of the month to breakdown shipping costs for all different platforms/salesmen. When printing shipping labels in ShipStation I cannot assign a "cost Code" Therefore I cannot easily breakdown my shipping costs at the end…

  8. Handle null objects as part of API JSON data

    When importing orders (ssapi.shipstation.com/orders/createorders) we have ran into other existing plugins causing issues. As a software engineer myself, I've debugged the problem for them and determined it's caused by the API throwing an exception when an object is null. They have given me a terrible ETA for a solution, so I'm reaching out to you to please help me fix this.

    For example things that will cause any issue: [null,{"orderNumber"...."pounds"}}]}]

  9. Allow Shipstation to pull from custom fulfillment services on Shopify.

    We currently fulfill for an automotive company that sells thousands of car parts, but we just fulfill their clothing and accessories. About 300 skus. We want to be able to set the fulfillment services in Shopify to our company and then Shipstation can pull from just those items. Currently Shipstation can only pull from anything set to "Manual".

    We use ecomdash and have the connection set up. It would be nice to be able to feed all stores data into Ecomdash. This way we keep both systems up to date and all shipping information flows to ecomdash.

  11. zapier

    We use the ShipStation Triggers in Zapier quite extensively, but they're missing a key bit of basic order information: Quantity Shipped.

    I can see lots of details about each order in the New Order or Order Shipped Triggers, but neither reports back the total number of items in a given order/shipment.

    This data is available in the ShipStation interface and it's available on reports that are generated from Insights. If there is any way you could amend the Zapier triggers to include Quantity Shipped, that would be immensely helpful to us.

  12. Selective/Smarter data push from ShipStation to QBO, sync via order number

    We needed to have our orders push to QBO from WooCommerce instead of via ShipStation.

    However, my client would like to be able to pass info such as tracking numbers, ship dates, and ship via info to QBO, which of course can't be accomplished by Woo because the data comes from ShipStation.

    I was told by your amazing support team today that unfortunately if you try to sync between ShipStation and QBO on orders already created, you may wind up with duplicates. It would be AWESOME if we could choose to sync orders between ShipStation and QBO via the ORDER…

  13. Zapier Trigger Missing "Service Name"

    It would be most helpful if your Zapier App would also send the actual "Service Name" of how the order was shipped. I can see where you are providing the "Service Code and Carrier Code" however we really need the Name as well.

  14. Bulk resubmission tool for throttled/failed Amazon submissions

    It would be great to have the ability to bulk resubmit vailed notifications to Amazon Market Place through ShipStation at the end of the day. Our workflow doesn’t allow us to use batching for our orders and we are left with 1,000s of daily orders throttled with failed notifications. Currently we are contacting ShipStation nightly to bulk resubmit the orders otherwise we would need to manually update Amazon accounts one at a time.

    Having an auto feed that could bulk resubmit these failed orders at the end of the day would be a valuable time saver for all parties.

  15. Old Marketplace customer data to be retained in ShipStation when store is inactivated.

    Right now when you remove an old marketplace that is no longer active you loose customer order data. When you leave an old marketplace there and active to keep customer data it always shows an error on the icon at the top for "Update All Stores". I would like there to be a way to leave a store active only for keeping customer data under customers so we can find old orders when needed or to have SS automatically keep all customer data in its database when turning off an old marketplace.   16. Have a Premier Subscription Plan for Seller Fulfilled Prime Shippers

    Please create a subscription add on or plan for Seller Fulfilled Prime Shippers. I would prefer to pay a slightly higher monthly premium for having Prime Shipping enabled on my account rather than pay 20 cents per label created for seller fulfilled prime orders. Its much easier to budget for overhead with this included in a subscription instead of per item.

  19. Quickbooks Integration like ShipRush has

    Quickbook Integration the way it is does me no good. I do wholesale orders, and my previous shipping vendo ShipRush had it set up so I could sign in, my recent 'QB Online' invoices and sales receipts would show up. I'd choose them, and the ship to info would be there, and after I shipped, the tracking info, carrier, and ship date would be updated in my quickbooks (this is especially helpful since my customers can see the updated invoice online)

  20. multi package / item shipment for AusPost

    Really urgently need this. Many companies need to ship multiple cartons to customers. Carriers charge a basic charge then a kg rate plus a small charge per item. Its not cost effective to make 3 connotes for one shipment. Please urgently look at this. Our old system SupplyMaster does this just fine.
