  1. Allow us to delete canceled orders

    There should be a way to delete orders from the 'canceled' tab - sometimes an import doesn't go quite right, or perhaps you created the order to get a shipping cost for a customer who backed out - there's no reason to keep all that data in the canceled tab.
    Furthermore, and more importantly - if it's a botched import - you have to change to all new order #'s or re-importing will only update the already botched orders (and if it's the order # that's botched, you're way out of luck.)

    Let us delete canceled orders.

    Hey @Dave, thank you for bringing this up! You’re right, the order number is the identifier in which we can look for to update order information. For example, if you mis-mapped product name and SKU you can re-import the file with the existing order numbers to update these fields.

    One other thing you can look into is deactivating your manual store and creating a new one. This will hide all orders associated with this store.

    And if you’re looking to create shipping rates, have you looked into the rate calculator? This will let you provide quotes to potential customers or for you to get a better understanding of the available shipping services.   2. Set insurance amount for carrier in Automation Rules

    In our business we have multiple forms of insurance on our shipments as we sell a lot of laptop computers and need to make sure it is safe. Within our FedEx Account we have discounted rates and special policies so we only need to apply a set amount of insurance to each package as it is cheaper to insure it for more or less than the sell price usually.The current option in Automation Rules only allows you to set the Insurance to Carrier, ShipStation Insurance or External/Other.The ability to set the amount of insurance on the shipment as well would…

  4. Use eBay order number instead of sales record number, to reduce clicks and memorization time needed to get to eBay Print Shipping Label

    By using eBay's OLD sales record number instead of the CURRENT order number eBay implemented in AUGUST 2019 (9 months ago!), ShipStation is causing customer teams to waste time and create errors by having to do these steps to reach the Print Shipping Label functionality in eBay for EVERY order that is processed:
    1) scroll up to the top of the SS Order Details page to read and memorize or copy/paste the eBay userid
    2) click eBay OLD sales invoice number at top of SS Order Details page to open the eBay tab
    3) click item title in eB

    We are currently investigating how to upgrade our ebay integration to ensure we are receiving the most up to date information. We will update this post when we have started this integration work.

  5. Being able to customize the name of each Custom Field would be incredibly helpful.

    When I import from a CSV, I'd love the opportunity to customize our Custom Fields (1-3) so that it's clear what they're being used for. We currently have to use a shared document with a key. And that's not as simple as just being able to have a column that clearly says what the data means.

  6. Change the font colors for age of orders

    Different sellers have different processing times, so it would be nice to be able to adjust the age at which an order goes to the panic red zone.

  7. Create Automation Rules for Multiple Packages

    If an order exceeds a certain weight, I'd like for there to be an automation rule that separates the shipment into multiple packages. We are a coffee company that doesn't ship anything over 40 pounds, but we regularly get orders over 40 pounds, so it would be great when we get an order like that for an automation rule to separate the order into multiple packages.

  8. The ability to have decimal points in the quantities.

    We sell items by weight, so when someone purchase 1.25 lbs it shows up as a quantity of 1.25. Shipstation rounds this up to a quantity of 2 which makes all our packing slips and international shipping labels incorrect. When a person purchases 1.25 lbs at $80 for instance their international shipping label should show they spent $100 but instead Shipstation rounds it up to $160. This is inaccurate and they will then possibly be liable for duties on something they didn't buy. I don't understand why you wouldn't allow decimal points in the quantities. If you did this it…

    The vast majority of our orders require more than one box and therefore have to be manually fulfilled.

  10. Lock packer to "Ship From" location

    We would like to lock packers via admin setting to a warehouse location so that packer will not have to constantly use a drop down menu on order detail page to choose his location.

    This feature should be beneficial to any SS user where there is more than 1 warehouse.

    I.e. David the packer is located in NY, so upon creation of his account by admin we will choose a default warehouse for David - Warehouse NY.

    Then anytime David will be logged into the system "Ship From" location will be preselected and locked for David.

  11. Be able to see and select more than 500 orders at at given time

    Why can we only see and/or select up to 500 orders or shipments at any given time?

    We import bulk orders and sometimes have to process up to 5000 orders in one sitting. This means we have to process up to 10 BULK imports.

    Why can't you just select to 'SEE ALL' orders or shipments?

  12. Bring back search all history

    Please bring back the 'search all time' option/link that displayed at the bottom of the standard 6 months of searching for historic orders.

    The advanced search takes much longer to use having to pick date ranges etc - even having an option in that screen to just search for all time would be much quicker.

  15. manual override setting needed for residential/commercial address type

    SS discovers the address type through verification. But if verification doesnt work (international or brand new domestic location for instance) then Fedex shipping will default to commercial. This causes problems because ISR is not a valid signature option for commercial delivery. Also residential delivery uses the Fedex Home service not Fedex Ground. These services have different rates, schedules, and delivery options. If you create a shipment on fedex.com there is a checkbox there to allow you to declare the address as residential. SS needs the same capability.

    Mark as shipped only after it's scanned into the system. Need an intermediate status of "Label Printed". We get hundreds of orders each day and have the labels printed immediately. It is not easy to figure out which ones have actually been shipped and which ones just have the label printed.

    Please add phone number to Advanced Search criteria.

    When a customer calls and leaves a message in most cases phone number is all we have to find his order.

    Thanks for your continued support of this feature idea. With your feedback and input we definitely understand how searching by phone numbers is something valuable to many users. We are still reviewing this feature and are looking into ways to implement it. As we get closer to a decision, we’ll continue to keep you all posted.

  18. Flag orders that have had their address modified by ShipStation

    Nearly every online platform we sell on requires us to do at least this one thing, "Ship to the address provided by the customer" It gives us seller protection on eBay, helps our case in chargeback claims, and even A-z claims if they come up.

    ShipStation's address verification is a very useful tool however sometimes it completely changes an address, and in the flow of hundreds of orders per day we are unaware of it. This leads to return to sender, dead letter, or even mis-delivered packages and in turn, into loss of profit on sales.

  20. Apply package set to orders in bulk (or allow presets to have multiple packages)

    We currently import our orders using a CSV to Shipstation from our internal database. 95% of our orders are standard "kit" configurations consisting of two boxes with the same dimensions and weights each time. We always ship these orders via Fedex.

    It would be very helpful to be able to configure the order using two boxes in bulk for these orders. Upon researching this capability, it appears that it is possible to configure and apply a preset in bulk, but the preset only allows one box (not multiple ones).
