  1. Sort by "last name"

    I have multiple stores being imported into Shipstation and some customers order from them all. I need to sort by Last Name so I can easily see what orders need combined shipping. Sorting by first name isn't as reliable since people have nicknames.

    There is only ONE indication in ShipStation that an order notified the marketplace of fulfilment and it's a whether a shopping cart icon is RED or GREEN. Really? Ever heard of red green colorblind?

    Hi Justin, thanks for sharing this feedback. We’re reviewing notification email statuses and are working on improving this to not solely rely on colors. We’ll update you when we have more information.

    A quick update: You can filter the Shipments page by notifications with and without warnings. You’ll find this where the blue filter links live (right above the shipment list / columns and headers). This is to the right of the “ship date” filter.

I almost always have to reload into shipments and search for the tracking number of the label I just created, and sometimes I'm making several in a row and keep going back and forth.

  4. I really need a reliable way to find where the shipment is once it leaves or even just a flag for delivered=true/false

    It would be very helpful to stay on top of my orders if I had a reliable way to find where the shipment is once it leaves my warehouse or even just a flag for delivered=true/false in the API so I know somethings wrong if its delivered=false after so many days.

  5. Prevent Automatic Invoice creation for multiple items in an order.

    When invoicing orders, sometimes we invoice items in the orders separately for various reasons (sometimes we don't have an item in stock, an item needs to be held and invoiced later, the items are coming from different stores, etc.); however, when we invoice just one item, the other item is automatically invoiced thorugh ShipStation. Second invoice clearly mentioned in comment that this was Issued By Auctane ShipStation. We've installed this module https://marketplace.magento.com/auctane-shipstation.html.

  6. Multi Package Shipping for DPD

    The vast majority of our orders require more than one box and therefore have to be manually fulfilled.
    DPD support multi package shipping so please add this to the UK integration

  7. google sheets

    we run a factory and are constantly downloading orders for our production plan into google sheets. we can use an automated zap via Zapier with the shipstation API to pull orders into Google Sheets, but would be great if Shipstation provided a tool to do this directly, or provided a gui to view raw order data we could use for our production schedule. many smaller maker type businesses also need this tool (etsy, etc), too.

  8. Remove shipping costs from orders for specific users

    It is possible to create a permission/restriction for certain users so that they cannot see the shipping costs attached to an order?

    I want to use shipstation to create unique username for my clients so that they can track where we are at with fulfillment on specific orders with respect to their customer service reaquests.

    I do not want them to see my costs associated with shipping the order.

  9. Improve / simplify label voiding process....

    Can't we eliminate the extra steps and at least make the Void function available from the Orders tab -- Instead of having to void it from the Shipments tab, then return to the Orders tab in order to cancel the order from Awaiting Shipment?

    IDEALLY (and in addition) we would make the "Void Shipment(s)" function as a drop-down menu with 2 options:

    "Void Label & Cancel"
    (OR)
    "Void Label & Restore"

  10. New API Endpoint for orderStatus

    I think it would be helpful to have an update status endpoint in the API that would require only orderId and orderStatus as input fields.

    Currently as I understand you need to use the create order endpoint and pass it a lot of data. (The docs say if you include the orderKey it will update but in my attempts to use that it is no true it creates another order with the same orderKey.)

    For integrating other BackOffice systems and or fulfillment partners a simple status update to pending_fulfillment would be awesome.

    Shipstation, it would be incredibly helpful if your automation system filters supported "or" rules. We use SquareSpace as our storefront and currently use numerous filters and actions for each operation we want to perform to the orders.
    This is mainly because each order we receive can contain a variety of different products that need to be packaged in a specific way or that can't have certain items packaged in the same shipment due to DOT regulations. SKUs, Quantities and Weights, are all used to determine this. Sometimes, a customer orders an excepted quantity and no special actions are required. Sometimes…

  13. Parcel return notification

    Part of our business model includes drop shipping products. If a parcel is refused or damaged in transit, it would be great to get a notification that it is being returned before it actually arrives. This would allow us to address the issue with the client proactively and also notify our drop shippers.

  14. When Importing Orders from TopHatter include the Paid Date field also

    We noticed that the orders from TopHatter always show an age of "0d 0h". And therefore we can't determine accurately which orders to fulfill first. The other sales channels (eBay and BigCommerce) show this information properly.

    I found that the TopHatter orders that show up in ShipStation are missing the "Paid Date" information - all of them.

    I contacted TopHatter & looked into their API. According to that, they do provide a "paid_at" field in their API response for listing orders. See: https://tophatter.readme.io/docs/order-list

  15. "product category"

    Please add Product Category to the column options on the Orders page. For me, it just helps me to be more efficient -- I could filter on product category, apply preset, generate labels, and prep orders from there. I basically do that now by sorting on Item Name, but having a filter for product category would be more useful. With the holidays coming up, the more I can be organized and efficient, the better!

  16. Returns Portal Return Shipping Method should match outgoing method

    We should atleast have the option to have the return method match the outgoing method. Ideally, for merchants who choose to charge customers the return costs from their refunds, we should allow for the customer to have a list of return methods with the pricing displayed.

  17. Setting rules for customer-initiated returns

    Hi - love the idea of the returns portal, but can it also include a rule-set to say which reasons are eligible for free returns, and which ones will charged to the customer (deducted from the refund)? i.e. if they've just changed their mind, then the customer pays, but if it's defective, then it's free.

    I know this will get some abuse (as it does on Amazon), but I hope that overall there's a net benefit to the seller, assuming free returns is the default.

    I would like to split a customer's order and for the customer to see what is included in the shipment and what has been split out for another shipment. Currently the split items are dropped off the list.

    Looking for a detail on the progress of this enhancement and timeline. It is frustrating to continue to hear that there is no updated timeline. I have never been provided a timeline or status of development or testing.

  19. api ecomdash integration

    We have integrated ecomdash with shipstation to feed all the order details. theer is only limited infromaiton transferred to shipstation regarding teh order. i would suggest the product/package related informaiton be transferred from ecomdash as well. this will help in creatign the shipping labels. here is teh example of informaiton:
