  1. Customer Updates and Reporting

    We are new to ShipStation.

    The current process of updating a single customers information is unnecessarily time-consuming and overly complex. When a single change is needed in a customers record for their address, it does not make sense to be required to download a CSV and then upload a CSV to overwrite the data for that customer.

    Please make it user-friendly not just programming friendly.

    Hi @Brian, after further review, if you’re looking to project how much product you need based on trends, have you looked into the Product Highlights dashboard on the Insights page?

    If you’d like more data, the Reports tab on the Insights page will also show you similar information in a table form. One report that may interest you is the “Item Demand Summary”. You can filter by order date to focus on a specific time period.

    Lastly, if you’d like to know more information about the products you’ve shipped you may want to look into creating a custom formatted export from the Shipments page. Here’s more information on that: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001589587

    Please add "Shipments by Store" to the Insights Overview. This would be a very useful for allocating per shipment fulfillment charges between stores for example.

  4. Freshdesk Integration

    It would be nice to see integration with Freshdesk. Having customer info from shiptstation available for my techs working on customer issues would be great.

  5. Delivery Update Notifications

    FedEx sends me an email notification when there's an delivery exception (customer not home, package damaged, etc). It's a bit odd that this isn't an option from ShipStation.

  6. SALES REPORT MATH DOES NOT ADD UP!

    If you pull up a report for sales you get a number at the top and then on the bottom right there are sales by store. Any rational person would think that the total of the sales by store adds up to the total on top. But NO. Sales by store is GROSS (including ship cost and tax) and sales total on top is just net of ship costs paid and tax paid. It makes ZERO sense and is totally unusable.   7. Sales Report

    Wait a minute. Shipstation has no way of adding cost to each SKU? So I am not able to pull a report like the one attached that shows how many units sold of each SKU for the month of November 2017, revenue per SKU, item price, shipping price, tax, shipping cost, fees, discounts, and net before monthly expenses? Not sure why this is not available, but if you are worried if customers will need/want something like this I think I can speak for every business out there that this 100% a must/need for every business with multiple SKUs/selling channels.

  8. Give Fulfillments the Same Export Customizations and Filters

    Shipments have customizable exports, but Fulfillments do not. Fulfillments also do not let us filter by carrier, the way shipments do.

    We sometimes have to purchase postage from Amazon so we are protected from late deliveries, such as during the holiday when our product line is slow, but the postal network is backed up. We also will need to purchase postage on ebay once they go back to one of their guaranteed delivery paradigms requiring you to purchase postage from the ebay website.

    Despite these orders being fulfilled in-house, ShipStation considers these externally fulfilled. It is our point of view…

  9. Generate and Export an "Actions" Report

    I'd like to be able to generate and export a report that will let me know the amount of times I've split off products and applied a "backorder" tag to orders over a specific window of time.

    I would imagine it being called an "actions" report.

  10. Reports - Assigned To vs User ID that Ships Product

    I want a Report that will show me "Assigned To" and the "UserID" that shipped the product. I can see all Assignees and it's Xmas so I'll be fulfilling for all Assignees -- so I need this report so I know which Assignees owe me Inventory ... I don't understand why SS has the Options to view specific columns on screen yet won't allow those same fields in creating Reports! A little help here SS Tech Support :-)

  11. Exportable shipping reports filtered by user permission

    I have multiple users with access to create manual orders. I suspect fraud taking place, where some users are creating manual orders for personal use. When I export my shipments, I would like to see an option where I can search/filter by user. This way, I can see which user is creating these shipments. As of right now it's all a guessing game.

  12. A custom report option that can run on a particular SKU

    Great idea for identifying single item sales velocity. If i need to have a report for a specific item. I would like to be able to see how many of this item was sold during a specific date range as well as whether it was sold individually or with other items.

    Hi! So, to clarify with us a bit, how would this report vary from the Item Demand Summary report which is currently offered?

    Would you want more ability to get a report on a single item or would it take the Item Demand Summary’s form with how it shows each item on its own line?

  14. Royal mail shipping integration

    Since many sellers start selling in amazon UK, and shipping with Royal Mail, and Shipstation is not integrating with Royal Mail's shipping pricing, will be a good idea since they have flat rate prices for each requested service, (price set according for each customer) therefore asking to be able to enter my charges with royal mail on each service to be able to see the shipping charges before shipping an order and eventually be able to download a report of how much the shipping was charged.

  15. Shipped Items Report to Include both FBM and FBA Shipments

    It'd be great to be able to pull 1 Shipped Items report that shows all items shipped by FBM and FBA. The Insights tab shows cumulative sales, so the data is somewhere, but we are unable to see the details.

  16. Hide Insights Tab so my shippers can't see sales numbers

    I would rather that my shippers can't see my top line sales in the Insights tab. Ideally, I'd like to be able to simply turn that tab off for certain users or set permissions for certain users.

    My last shipper ended up getting fired because she was padding her hours to get paid more. I'm sure she was comparing what she thought I was "making" to what she was getting paid. If she couldn't see what I made, then I don't think there would have been a problem.

    Hi @Bradley thank you for bringing this up! You can hide the Insights page from your users by editing their permissions. Go to Settings > Account > User Management.

    Once there, click “edit” next to the user in question and click on the “Permissions” tab. The one you’re looking for is called “Reporting” which is located towards the bottom of the list.

  17. Options for Automated Reports

    I run reports every week and they're always the same. I run a shipping cost report for the previous week starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday every week. I occasionally generate a report for the number of orders shipped per user to get a feel for how well each user is performing. Another extremely useful report I would like is for the data of the "raw data" shipped items and shipped orders to be combined into one report. I use a VLOOKUP currently to cross-match the shipping costs to each item so that I can update our software with…

  18. Number of SKUs by shipper

    It would be great to know how many of a particular product any of our shippers has sent. For example, with Products 1, 2, 3, and 4, I'd like to know how many of products 1 and 3 John Doe shipped last week. I'd also like to know if Jane Doe mostly ships product 4, or a mix of products.

  19. order report raw data

    Hello. I have two questions/suggestions:

    1. Is there a way to automate a Raw Data Export? We download the Orders report but need to do it manually. Ideally it would run at the end of each day (we upload it to our ERP system).

    2. How is the Orders report (under Raw Data Export) sorted? We would like it to be sorted either by order number or ship date. It currently seems to be in random order. I checked with Shipstation Support and they could not figure out how it is sorted. They suggested I submit both items on this…

    Hi @Patricia! Thanks for taking the time to bring this up. There isn’t a way within ShipStation’s interface to automate the raw data export but you can use our API to create a process yourself.

    Alternatively, have you looked into using Zapier? Depending on what kind of information you’re using from the raw data export, you may be able to create a zap to add orders (or order items) to a spreadsheet tool based on import or shipment.

  20. SMS or Email alert when a store sync fails

    Hello,

    It would be great if there was a way to be notified when a story sync fails beyond the web application its self. It always seems to happen at critical times, and that extra 5 or 10 minutes would be a big help for our IT operations to be notified.
