Since we ship everything from shipstations, We would like to manage our inventory from here.
Idea is Current inventory= Total in stock - Amazon- Magento -Ebay -Buy.com. And sending correct inventory count back Channels.
Good news everyone! Our Inventory Management Solution is now live and ready for use.
Here are the four main features, simplified from our previous message:
1. Set stocks, and ShipStation will count them for you as you ship
2. Receive a heads up on low-stock products *before* you run out and have to slow your shipping process
3. Ship the most important orders out first!
4. Only print labels for orders that are ready to go.
Read more about it here: http://www.shipstation.com/blog/packing-up-the-extras/keep-track-of-inventory-levels-in-shipstation/
Don’t worry, as with anything we do, we’ll be making improvements and adding to it as we continue to work on the feature. We appreciate all your feedback so please continue to comment and vote!

Hey @John, thanks for checking in. Currently you're not able to use the API with inventory but here's an idea you can add your votes to: http://feedback.shipstation.com/forums/330429-product-feedback-fresh-ideas/suggestions/16021294
I also recommend starting a new idea with more specific information to garner attention from other users to add their votes.

How to update Shipstation product Inventory using API? Shipstation have any API to update inventory?
Hi @MarkBaukusRGS, for the best support on these shipments not triggering a reduction in stock, I would recommend reaching out to our support team at Support@ShipStation.com or through the help portal in the dropdown for the question mark icon in the upper righthand corner of your ShipStation account. They'll be able to best handle this with you in a more dedicated capacity.

I have connected my Bigcommerce website to Shipstation. I have added the Inventory in the Product section. When any one place the order, the corresponding product inventory stock level doesn't decreased in ShipStation eventhough after order was shipped.
Could you please advise about this?
Thanks in advance
If you guys are looking for something thats just one more notch above ShipStation's inventory system then check out EcomDash. They've got great support, in-app chat support, and they respond to my emails in a timely fasion. They support most of the same marketplaces that SS does, and can push inventory out to all of them. They also support pushing/pulling listings to most of their marketplaces right from in EcomDash. They also report that they'll have ShipStation integration by the end of this quarter.
I think I'm in the same boat as everyone, I'd love a single system to do it all, but the ShipStation & EcomDash has been working well for us, and its going to get even better in a few weeks.

@mudecommerce Nailed it. I'm also looking to eliminate stitch. This inventory adding is useless. I would like to hear what percentage of users are actually using it. Stitch is overly complex, expensive and we have had a ton of syncing issues. Less points of failure is always better.
@mudecommerce - AGREED. Can you please comment on why you want to eliminate Stichlabs? Thank you.
completely pointless without pushing inventory levels to Etsy, Shopify Amazon and Ebay. I would like to eliminate Stichlabs, but this is of no help
Hey everyone, thank you for adding your thoughts! Today, our native inventory management is aimed to help you ship orders to your customers. I've cleaned up the highlights in the status above to help see if it's a good fit for you, and be sure to read the blog post to get all the details!
If you have any questions or concerns, we are always happy to help at Support@ShipStation.com
The added feature to send stock levels to our selling channels would be huge! We use cs-cart and amazon at the moment and would love to use shipstation for this instead of finding a 3rd party.

LOL :) A big joke...
Shipstation I will remind you something, this is the original request: "Since we ship everything from shipstations, We would like to manage our inventory from here.
Idea is Current inventory= Total in stock - Amazon- Magento -Ebay -Buy.com. And sending correct inventory count back Channels"
AGAIN: And sending correct inventory count back Channels
It suppose to sync inventory between the channels.
I do have to agree with others who say this feature is of little or no help as it doesn't integrate with the selling channels inventory levels. I am sure there may be some who find this useful, but I only wish to manage my inventory in one tool....not two. That said, ShipStation is still the most awesome tool in my arsenal for managing orders and shipping. It's got a lot of great features and when inventory and repricing tools get added and integrated with the selling channels, I will have no need to spend $$ elsewhere on my shop.
Thanks for always improving. This particular improvement was a dud for me, but I understand this may be the first sprint in the agile development of inventory management. I look forward to the expansion!
Anybody waiting for the inventory feature that will "push" the current inventory up to your various marketplaces will be waiting a long time, like forever. Shipstation is not going to do this, what you see is what you get for the inventory. I had a tech on the line a couple of weeks ago for an unrelated issue and asked them, they confirmed. Not going to happen. Which makes sense for Shipstation, why would they undermine all of the platforms that have supported them for all these years. I"ve moved on, they dangled the carrot for many years but this is what it is.

nice! great to see you kick off this project. I'm sure it's on your roadmap, but Shopify and/or QuickBooks Online please :)
Waited for nothing. Doesn't integrate to push inventory to ebay/amazon/etc was a worthless feature. Why would I waste time manually entering all that info when you don't even offer pushing this to the stores selling it?

as per Shai Schechter Deltaprintr said, Thanks for releasing the inventory feature! Would love it if you can make it able to push inventory levels to Woocommerce. Otherwise the feature is useless for us as it doesn't update the inventory on our selling channel (woo commerce).
without pushing inventory to channels its useless...
It now marked as completed even though it doesn't do what the original request asked for. Yes, I know it says at the bottom of the announcement that they will work on new features but what new features? For us this new feature in this state is worthless. After waiting 4 years very disappointed.
Hi thanks for release the first stage of inventory management!!!
Right now you just support StitchLabs and ChannelAdvisor, since you often recommend eComDash we are using that service and also are very happy about using it. It would be nice to have it integrated as well into Shipstation, since you now have the ability.
In your early version of your announcement it also said it could integrate with StitchLabs and ChannelAdvisor and BigCommerce. But after getting in contact with your team you changed the article about that. So if not ecomdash it would help to have it with bigcommerce (since ecomdash does my bigcommerce inventory) so either way would be great. Since we are a small company we need to support small companies like ecomdash that does have a great product at a reasonable price that we can afford - that is not the case with StitchLabs and ChannelAdvisor :-) (also stitch wasn't able do what we want at the time we evaluate all that services back then, but ecomdash did that).
So keep working, we love ship station a lot!
