  1. Don't limit to 5 views

    We'd like to be able to have more than 5 views. 10 would be a big improvement, although even higher might be useful. We're currently using views to sort some orders that have certain situations out by Store, so having only 5 for all stores is pretty constricting for us.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I can definitely understand the desire for this functionality, however, postage is not currently purchased via the ShipStation platform, it is purchased directly through your carrier.

    I recommend you reach out to your carriers with this feedback, at this I will be archiving this feedback.

  3. usps rate name is wrong

    The USPS rate "First Class Mail Int'l" is actually for shipping envelopes or flats under 4oz. The correct name of this rate is "First Class PACKAGE Int'l" This error is confusing for shipstation operators and can lead to selecting the wrong rate. I am using shopify and the USPS connection allows for both of these rates but the package one is what everyone on shipstation will be using. Please fix this.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    This particular circumstance is specific to your Selling Channel. We will pull in the Requested Service type from the mapping in your Store Front. That mappings can be different depending on marketplaces and store shipping settings.

    To reduce errors I recommend mapping those Requested Services so that when an order comes in with with the Requested Service of “First Class Package International” we automatically assign “USPS First Class Mail Intl” with the package type of your preference.

  4. create return label before shipment

    We need a way to create a return label before shipping a product. We do software updates on some devices and are looking for a way for a customer to "order" an update on our web site so that we can send return label for the customer to ship the product to us. We would then install updates and ship the product back with the normal shipping label.
    Is there any functionality for this outside of sending a return label through the rate calculator? Having the label tied to the specific order is important.

  5. Allow for editing of the quantity of items returned in the Returns module.

    It would be nice to be able to edit the return once it's received. For example, I had a client said they wanted to return three items, so that's what I marked in the return section in Shipstation.

    But when I get the package back, they decided to keep two items, and return only one item. As the returns module is now, I don't see a way for me to edit what I actually received back. So, it's stuck saying that they returned three items.

    The ability to edit quantities on the return page would be a nice feature to…

  6. Bulk action for Scheduled Ship Date

    Currently, it is only possible to set Scheduled Ship Date as today or tomorrow. We batch our orders because it doesn't make sense for us to visit the postal office daily. We batch 60 order or so on a weekly basis.

  7. Check order status for customers

    In the same way that Shipstation now offers the ability for its users to provide a link for their customers to access and generate their own shipping labels, Shipstation should also allow the ability for customers to see the status of their orders either within the same portal or another that can be access via a link we put on our website.

    This would relieve an outrageous amount of customer service work/time/money that is put into providing order updates for customers that they should be able to find themselves without calling/emailing in.

  9. Bulk get delivery status updates for fulfiillments

    Similar to the track shipment(s) button on the shipments page and side bar, but for fulfillments. This would allow us to track the progress of our drop shipped orders and and spot any issues proactively instead of reactively.

  10. removed scanned shipments from recent tab

    I would like a way to easily view shipments that have had labels generated but were never scanned. This will help finding orders that "fall through cracks".

    This would be very easy for Shipstation to implement. Just remove the shipments from the Shipments>Recent tab once they are scanned by the carrier. You would then view these shipments in the In Transit Tab.

  11. Automation rules - assign by order time

    We would like to assign carrier/class with automation rules based on the order time (not import time, but order time). An example rule would look something like, if an order was placed between 12pm and 4pm local time, and the requested shipping method was 2 day, and the customer state is in a list of states, use Carrier X. This way, we could use ground to ship 2 day orders that are committed to ship the following day, but that we can get out the same day.   13. Shipping label and packing slip on same page, but not all line items are printed. WHY?

    Shipstation advertises a main benefit of their service as being able to print a shipping label and packing slip on a single piece of paper. What they don't tell you is that if a customer orders over 10 line items, not all of them will make it on to the packing slip. There is no second sheet of paper printed with the remaining items. No alert, no reminder, nothing.

    When I asked support about this, their answer was 'print your packing slips on a full 8.5 x 11 piece of paper'. Not acceptable. If a feature of ShipStation is to…

    Thanks for bringing this up! We’ve reviewed your idea and the overall user feedback and are closing your idea to give your votes back since there hasn’t been any activity here in awhile.

    The issue here is that when over about 9 items are ordered, it pushes the line items off the page. And since the logic of the PDF-rendering for the labels is set up the way it is, anything that is pushed off of the page, will not be able to be printed since it strings the PDF together label, packing slip, label, packing slip, etc. The best alternative to this would be printing the packing slip for orders with a total item quantity greater than about 7 to be printed on a full page.

  14. Problems with creating label for shipped items

    When you want to go and create a new label in SAFARI for an order that already was shipped it keeps failing.. would really like to have this fixed. I tried to create it from clicking the order or adding to batch or even from side menu...nothing works.

  15. Return Label Expiration

    I would like to know if there is an option or can an option be made available to allow us to have an expiration date on Return Labels...Purpose of this is to not allow customers to return products past the normal return period allowed and to use return labels that they were issued several months ago...Looking for some feedback.   16. Using Paypal to pay postage on Shipstation

    For eBay sellers who use Shipstation, it would be more convenient to be able to use Paypal to pay for postage on Shipstation when generating labels. Looking forward to see this feature become available on Shipstation. Some other shipping platforms actually support Paypal payment already. It would definitely make a lot of users switch to Shipstation if this feature is available.

  17. segmenting carriers for a dropshipper account

    It is very helpful to have the ability to add a dropshipper's carrier account as a usable carrier in shipstation - so that they can use that carrier when fulfilling orders. However, to really make this great, it would be super helpful if we could restrict the visible carriers for the dropshipper user account - so that they only have access to that carrier. Is this something we can get into an upcoming release?

  18. Shipping Info Presets available in Ship Multiple Packages window

    We should be able to use Presets in the Ship Multiple Packages window. Presets are a great time saver and prevent errors. It would be great to be able to use these in the Ship Multiple Packages window.

  19. Insurance amount follow shipment when a new shipment is added

    When you create a shipment and enter the Insurance value, that value does not follow the shipment to the window that opens when you ship multiple packages.

    Many times we are shipping several of the same package (big package package items in quantity). Having the Insured Amount populated from the initial package on the new window would be great so that duplicating the shipment would carry that insured amount to subsequent shipments.
